Ok .. memory playing tricks on me

The last one was v Swindon ...i think .. lets be honest the last 4 people who ran it lost money even when they won the league . cant see any sense in opening hardly any closed down track unless you like given money away .

How on earth can speedway and Greyhound racing make a profit these days .. i am a fan of both sports and wish them all the best but if its based of profit it wont work .

Not sure about that . Swindon fans loved doing well and loved winning the title it was still a big thing for the fans and the crowds would good because of that . Doing well and winning things will nearly always have a positive effect on crowd levels . Spending money on marketing and publicity with a crap team near the bottom is a incredible poor business model

Thou Garrity is scumbag i expect if he was earning money from speedway i doubt he would have done this at this present time and it brings home that speedway riders are having no income . none of that means you should go out and rob people or that i sticking up for him in any way . I doubt Wimbledon would be worried by poor ticket sales the television money is where the large part of the income comes from . Not look into why its been called off so early but worrying about ticket sales won't be it

Not a case of running speedway down . its just telling you how the sport is at the moment it's a fact .. your find it hard to find a fan who thinks otherwise . Yet again many of the reasons why you think Greyhound racing should close apply to speedway . a fact that is quite clearly lost on you . As I said stick to say Greyhound being cruel that can classed as a valid reason .
