1 .Unlike you i would try and win our home leg (we have won them before ) i would have put the best team in ...if we had pull off a shock and won it would be classed as a good world cup . 2. What i am saying is that the team we have picked has no hope our strongest team would have had a slight hope. 3. Danny king shows no reason why he would get better the only things he does it that he looks quite quick when out front what is not very offen ...he still getting beat by the likes of stuart robson week in week out and even his swedish team have dropped him ..i got nothing axe to grind with the lad because he gets my respect by going into the el but he never going to more than a 6/6.50 in the el 4 The pl is a well ran league full of small teams on low budgets kings lynn are one of the biggest teams in the uk with a massive budget hence they can win the league by signing Darcy Ward ...it's like man ute playing in the non league ...i give lyon no credit what so ever for beating teams 60-30 each week and not having the balls to test himself at the highest level in the el hence why he should never have got the job in the first place

Poles overflowing with talent ? why did they have to used a 33 year old bloke from norway ... they put out there best side they can weather they are 17 or 50 . Thats why they win worlds cups rather than give up and quit like we are doing . As for king i must have seen him ride 10-12 times plus countless times on tv and still is getting beat the likes by stuart robson on his own track week in week out he reach his level and like howe with be back in the pl in the next 2 years or so .

When was the last times poles put any young riders in ? one of the only reason they have won the world cup is because they got rune holta to ride for them on a polish passport.. when was the last time poland had a world champion ? do you think they would not have gollob in there world cup squad ? Danes Put young riders in who were good and maybe could help them win the world cups in later years like us now with Lewis and woffy ...as i said i don't mind that what i do mind is leaving out our best rider for a rider who not good enough now and won't be good enough ever to ride at this level .

We got to the final that year let us see if team of young superstars can do the same this year i some what doubt it .

As has been said before thatis untrue rico record in world speedway is an outstanding one the facts show you that ....putting riders who are no good now and won't be no good in a couple of years is not looking to the future it's just plain stupid .

It's called pride ...getting stuffed at home won't do any good for anyone . You should put your best team out at all times... what a negative attitude from team gb to go an say we are going to get beat so we wil put out a crap side We should go to boro with our best side thinking we can win .

The danes are gating tarts that what wins you world cups not being half a lap behind trying hard . King can't even beat Stuart Robson on his own track but now we put him v Gollob and Co but hey it better to try hard and score 0 rather then score 10 or 12 points by making good starts .

Why ? King is never going to cut it on a world stage and so picking him is waste of time on both fronts . Nearly all of us are saying the team is not being pick on merit or trying to win so we might as wel go the whole hog .

Picking youngsters who will do better later on like woffiden And Bridger makes sense even if they were not in the top 5 at the moment but ,King is not good enough and he won't be good enough Today or Tommorow . If we going to make no effort to win and blood youngsters lets go the whole hog and put people like Lawsonin etc in at least they may become a world class rider at one stage something king has no chance of ever doing .

So how can his average so high in sweden in poland ? he does it week in week out . If thats not conisistent i don't no what is . If your going to say somethink back it up with some facts .

Yea of course he is thats why he was a world under 21 champion thats why he scored a world cup max thats why he been out top scorer in world cups that why he's been our top scorer in world cup finals thats why he's been place twice in gp's . No doubt sweden and poland where he is yet again our top rider and he does well contain no top riders .? I Never seen a post like yours that is so far wide of the mark total rubbish .

Great meeting love the ruts reminds of a Eastbourne home meeting ......the best bit when the so called the 'grin' hancock got sour when the camera pan in on him after falling ....he look more like the grinch than the grin after that .

Amen to that ..one thing for sure you won't see rico being dropped from his swedish or the side he rides for in Poland because of his form . He's is the only uk rider who can cut it away from the uk and in his gp time made two finals and would still be are best bet in the gp's now .

How can it be about money ? if he rode in england as well he would be earning more money than he is now .As i said before it's Scotts life and he can choose where he wants to work . You could pick a million other sportsman who earn there living outside where they were born so whats the big deal about scott doing the same ?

Do you think that the Brazil football team should not pick players that don't play in Brazil league ? Speedway a job at the end of the day and scott can choose where and how he earns his living just like you and me can . Team gb should pick the best riders no matter where they ride and at this present time scott is one them .
