Can't understand why he never carried on

The unlikely event of a rider getting injured in his first heat you only miss one ride not really a big deal ....you idea would would just mean you could put your best rider there to pick and choose his rides the very reason it was stopped in the first place .

Let the reserve take 3 rides max to be used when a rider gets injured or as tactical move ...stops anyone cheating and also covers a injured rider ...

If Lyon going to stick to his guns then no way should Rico be brought in At Leszno ...He's got a game plan for 5-10 years time even Lyon can't change his mind in 5 days ?

And with Rob Lyon to help them find team places in the Pl the future is looking bright

Told you before most other teams try to pick the best teams not what colour they are or what age they are.. not a hard thing to follow is it ? Before tonight no one on gods each gave a Russia chance but they picked there best side and had a bit of luck and won ....you must always give yourself best chance of winning you seen tonight that one crash for a team and a rider could miss his rides and that team would have no chance of wining it . no good sitting here after the event saying we could have won that if we had put out our best side So Nicholls and rico for me every time intill someone shows me they are better ...pick the side on merit not age .

The point your missing is colin that Russia never put out no hopers they put out there best team reguardless of age colour or creed ....they never just just said 'we can't win anyhow so lets not pick our best side ' and look what happen tonight a win .

Nothing to do with a promoter and a tm ...Lyon has set his stall out to say that Gb must bring on the youth etc and how we must change the way speedway is run in he uk etc etc and has pick his side based on that . If he's going to say that and be in charge of Team Gb then he must stick to it ...but he willing to go along with a club that breeds import after import the things you said you hated ..Middlo always pick the best side he could for team gb as Poole speedway always try to do at club level no double stadards there .

As i said i think your on the wrong topic ....i still trying to understand what picking no hopers in a world cup team has got anythink to with any of your above points . Rob Lyon you say cares about the state of uk speedway and thinks we should go with young riders ? from what ive seen he's at a club that never pushes hardly any british young riders and would rather go with the aussie gold rush as you put it ....if Lyon got any morals surely he would leave the club if he thinks thats what wrong with speedway in the uk . Talk about going off the subject maybe there is a problem with British speedway but thats not going to change by picking riders who are not good enough for the team . These riders have plenty of chances to show they are good enough in the league etc and if they are give them a chance on merit rather than handing it on a plate when they have not earned the right . Never seen such a negtive attitude from a sporting team 'we are going to win so lets not pick are strongest side' Picking King in front of Rico or Scot for that matter serves no purpose at all as he is not as good as them now and won't be as good as them ever . Swindon not been utlra slick at all and last night there was plenty of dirt on it ...of course you were there last night and go to every home meeting ? King was hopeless last night and has been for the last couple of weeks and even his swedish have got rid of him ...Can't gate is clueless and slow from behind and can just beat premier league reserves ..bar that he's in great form

Would have to be Wembley for me ...the trainers would be better and the higher cost would get rid of some of guffs that go to Cardiff ..

At the highest level it is ..just like any walk of life you have to have had walked the walk .. Do you really see Lyon telling what lines on the racetrack Rico should ride ? or what set up he should used in poland ?

Sorry can't find anythink on Lyon record ....if you could put it up what he has done outside of the pl as as a rider and as a team manager it would be most helpful .

I given plenty of reasons about Danny king you just choose not ignore them ....to sum it up the guy has not the skill or the gating to take him to the next level this is as far as he gets ( waits for you to say you still have not given any reasons ) Craig boyce came third in a world championship and was captain of many top levels teams .......where did Rob Lyon come ? how many top levels teams did he captain ? Boyce gets respect from others riders Lyon done nothing to get anyones respect . Ps when did i ever say that Craig Boyce should have been or was a good world cup manager ?

i thought pratt and nicholls were together the other year they won the league twice and also a treble or was that some people with the same name ? As you say pratt done everythink in the sport so gets respect lyon does nothing so the top riders are unlikely to give him any .

Quite easy when you have done nothing in the sport as a rider or as a Team manager like Rob lyon your not going to get the respect of riders who have been at the top level of the sport like Nicholls and Rico etc and that is one of the main reasons they are not in the side .

Just because they did have a sponsor does not mean they don't have a big budget andersons bucthers etc have sponsor pl teams before hardly going to be a mavsive amount of money .
