Because it's unfair when you do a draft ...you let people who they want or you have draft when the bottom team get's the first pick of any draft rider . ,Maybe we should have no points limit then say tough luck on the smaller teams and they have not got the same money as Poole etc .

Swindon & Poole Home And Away On April 18

I can't see this at all ..Newman can beat our second strings based on last night ..without Worrall Poole to take max points from both meetings -
The idea was not bad ...but the moment Poole were able to get first pick thou they were champions it meant that yet again rules self interest had come above what was good for the sport . If you going have a draft then it's got to be done fair, the moment you allowed teams to used there own assets then any fairness go's right out of the window ...Some of the racing at Swindon has been shocking with one rider each corner such is the gap in class also this Friday Swindon are left with Greenwood and Compton to take on a pl second string . The rule and format could have been good but as normal they made a total hash of it .

Maybe they gone to some of the meetings and seen 4 riders one on each corner in six of the races like I have the last two weeks .

The point is thou the whole system as been a set up ..not only did Lakeside and Poole get first pick by be able to used there own riders is also means that they won't miss there meetings ..Double Bubble and no doubt well thought out in advance . -

Both matches are a waste of time unless your a Poole Fan ....two heavy defeats coming Swindon's way . Every year we have raced on the Thursday night before Good Friday and we Have always have had good crowds so why have we changed this one seeing we are going to lose Worrall . -

Coventry Bees V Kings Lynn Stars 11/04/2014
orion replied to Woz01's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
To be fair the main aim was to get a track that a meeting could be ridden on let alone start to put dirt on it ..walk before you start to run -
Good point I remember Belle Vue starting off the bad many times in the last few seasons before making these changes in June /July and then flying into the play offs ...maybe they are doing it again this year ?

More magic from Rosco -
Crazy logic as normal ...you may have to win only a certain amount of matches but you will have the chance to win the same amount of points in March as you would do in June or July ..and if Belle Vue miss out by one point from making the play offs this defeat will be just as important as any other .

Yet more great news for the Belle Vue stadium ...fantastic . -
Not sure why people keep going on about Garrity it's just not tonight but the bloke never stays on his bike ...going to have to get lucky to avoid getting injured again
-
If it does save money ...that means crowds not dropping because of the rule . I stick to what said before this rule should have been at PL level .
-
Nicholls and R Worrall are poor at the abbey and I can't see toft pulling up many trees ..hard one to call but Belle Vue are hardly word beaters around the abbey .
-
Yet again Poole have cooked the books

See you next week
