Not sure why people keep on about sky and heat 10 ..There are pleny of matches that are not on sky when teams mostly home sides will try to get to heat 10 if it means they get the desired result . As I said Cov themselves done the same v lakeside only a couple of weeks before this match . Just like you I don't like the heat 10 rule not why sky are to blame as it happens on the time .

cov have had more matches called off after heat 10than most and they not had to be on tv to do so. not sure why this match would only last 10 heats as the forcast and track are fine

Mixed feelings about this not a fan of Ward the person and even more so with his Poole roots and also gutted for Howarth who has gave nothing but 100 % . But from Rosco's point of view and with no other number one's about I guess he had to make the change even thou it was hard for him to dropped Howarth .. I don't think anyone doubts the talent of Ward the rider and he will doubt bring the crowds in home and away and that can only be good for British speedway . Don't know much about Kramer v Kramer to know if it will make us stronger so we will have to wait and see . The one bit of garbage about this deal is that Rosco as the British manager should keep Brits in a job. that is total guff . Rosco job as Swindon main man to is to put out the best possible team out for Swindon if that means no Brits then so be it .

I Agree in way ..if he wanted to drop his average he could have had a ef at the start etc or just stayed last rather than stopping on the last corner . but at the same time it's rather strange to say the least that the ef allows us to bring Ward into the side . As I said before Sid there are pro's and cons ...the points put forward about winning away and bringing the crowds in are valid points ...for me the cons win the day I like the the team we have at the moment and have enjoy watching them this season bar am of course plus I don't want a rider who might try to keep his average down to make sure he has a job with Poole next year. Who ever gets replaced it's going to harsh for them and Rosco is going to have to make a tough call .

Good knows what happens to you when you watch Kings lynn then ...the standard of speedway you must watch must be amazing .

I Thought is was a really good meeting ..you have to wonder what speedway people watch as a rule if they thought it was poor ..plenty of passing what is rare in speedway on a decent track ..the only minus was gate 1 having such an advantage .

I was told the other night that i was only fan you would rather keep the top 4 rather than bring Ward in. looks like that there quite a lot and quite rightly so ....For a start it not a given that it's makes us stronger i really did think that some fans thought it was a like for like swop the way they were talking plus i would say it's naïve to think that Ward will give his all as part of the thinking will for him to keep his average at a level that will allow back at Poole next year and of course there is the way Swindon have had ef's to allowed him into the side .do we really be like Poole and Ford ? the times we shouted cheat and now somehow it's ok to do that sort of stuff .(awaits prove that we did cheat ) On the plus side for having Ward in the side my old mate Sidney makes some good points ...the side we have now has no chance of making the play offs so maybe we have nothing to lose and it would bring in bigger crowds for sure .
