Batch is one of the nicest riders in speedway and wouldn't do it like Bomber did back in 2007 (SCB told me he did that!) Long live super professional and ultra popular Batch.

Just glad Batch has resolved those gremlins. Hours and hours of testing has done the trick.

I fear for him at the end of the season when Ward says he wants to stay at Swindon permanently. Someone will have to put him on suicide watch. I was joking. I was trying to make the point that tacticals don't get paid as 6 or recorded as 6 for averages.

I suppose that 6 points he got last night has increased his average so that's bad news for you!

In my eyes Zengi top scored last night. And that's not a dig at your hero before you post some rubbish reply. As you well know I have always stuck up for him, certainly long before he was ever linked with Swindon. I'm glad he's at Swindon and that our inevitable mid table finishing position will be made a hell of a lot more entertaining each week knowing we get to see watch him for a few months.

We would say the reserves have cost us again. No one has blamed Ward for anything last night. He did more than expected first meeting back. But end of the day we lost so negatives get focused on rather than positives. That's sport!

But Rosco the Swindon manager has just been rewarded with paid 15 from the rider he kept in the team. So not all bad. I care more about my club that I have supported for 30 years rather than a team which is put together for 1 week of the season. I know everyone has their own opinions and I respect that but Swindon will always be more important to me than GB.I feel exactly the same about football as well. If only we could replace those damn English reserves as well then we might get somewhere!

No chance with our reserves. Wilkinson and Lambert ain't the best pairing in the league but are still battering our boys. If I was a Cov fan I would be wanting us to make the play offs because we have no chance over 2 legs against a team like Coventry who have 2 very good reserves.

I've had a little break from the forum as certain people were boring me. I come back on and look through the posts for the last few days and see our mate from Coventry saying Brandon was packed (again), Gater claiming he's a true Poole fan after supporting Swindon last year, Brum showing his bitter side just because SteveO was spot on about the sh1te Wolves team and to top it all off we now have Gavan writing long and rambling posts about Ward and Starman. Seems some things never change!
