Cant believe Gater doesn't want Shanes back. I would imagine pretty much every fan who actually attended a meeting last year and saw Shanes would want him in their 7. Certainly impressed me at Swindon. Suppose if you haven't ever seen live Speedway then your judgment could be wrong so will forgive Gater

Probably won't mean anything as none of these people will actually attend a live meeting but the amount of people who stopped me at work today to say they watched the last few heats and were hooked was amazing. Im the only speedway fan in an office of 80+ so its rare having anyone to discuss it with. If only we could get these people along to a meeting. Watched it back today and Morris werent half bad passing on the horror track!!! Inside and out. Maybe some riders just aren't good enough to handle it!!

The reaction from Swindon fans Monday and Wolves fans last night has been a pleasant surprise and restored my faith in the forum. No excuses from either sets of fans after home defeats when Wolves especially had a very valid one with 2 track specialists missing. Wolves very unlucky when it mattered but I still like to think that the 17 wins in a row and the fact we finished top means that we deserved the title. New respect from me towards Wolves and their supporters tho. I accused Brum of being biased like Starman once. I would just like to apologise for being so stupid!!!

Yeah forgot Bewley to be fair. Hes the best of the lot. Just been surprised at the other 3 especially Greaves. Watched him fall off 3 times a meeting a couple of years ago so massive improvement there.

I was bitterly disappointed leaving last night and resigned myself to the fact we had lost it. Now as the day has gone on im starting to think we can turn it around which means only one thing. Even bigger disappointment when we get smashed tomo!!! Are there any Swindon fans who can't make it going to any pubs to watch it on the box? I know the steam used to be decent for the GPs and im going there Saturday for Torun but wasnt sure whether anyone bothers with league matches.

Remember Ellis rushing back from a wrist injury against you lot in April and he was clearly nowhere near 100% and scored like it as well. Hope its not the same tomo although to be fair to him hes riding about 10 times better at the moment than he was then.

Awful luck for Wolves and we should win over 2 legs easily now. Freddie is irreplaceable at Monmore. Puts a bit of a dampener on it for me now but at the end of the day we were the best team over 28 matches despite our own injuries so if we do it we deserve it. If its Bomber to guest then he was very good at Blunsdon covering for Doyley so JT will prob be missed more tomo but its Wednesday where Freddie missing will hurt Wolves.
