Bomber was class tonight.

A massive improvement. Even in the races where there are no passes the riders don't seem to be as spaced out. Bomber liked the new place!! Best I've seen him ride at Swindon in years.

Similar to Poole meeting. Started slowly but heat 12 was the best race at Swindon in a fair while. Never seen so many jump starts unpunished.

Easy Swindon win I reckon.

Whatever happened to Gater/MattFordFan? I had a few months off this place and when I came back he was gone and Blackheart was posting the same sort of stuff as him. Has he actually said it's him? I know MFF had become a laughing stock as he was calling out people who go every week yet he has never even been to Poole!

Yep let's hope it goes that way. Been saying for ages that the season starts too early as Blunsdon in mid March is not appealing so to see a crowd like in mid April will hopefully tell the club that we should start later every year.

I think you are missing the point. Regulars like myself, and I include Shov in that, have had to witness gate and go racing for the last few years. Whilst the first 10 or so heats were quite boring whilst the riders sussed out the track, the last few provided some hope for the future. Heat 15 was class and we just aren't used to seeing that at Swindon. So maybe we have been over enthusiastic about the meeting as a whole but I can't wait for Monday now and that's not really a feeling I've had watching speedway at Swindon for a while.

13, 14 and 15 all great races. Genuinely can't remember the last time I saw 3 good races in a meeting there. Brady looked to love the place! Great move in 14. Heat 15 was class. Draw fair result. We threw a lot of points away.

First meeting. A point away with 3 riders not firing. I will take that.

I'm a Spurs fan who attends game and the past 6 months have been the biggest frustration ever with the constant delays. A one week delay to our new speedway track is nothing!

Its a week delay. Surely a bigger lie is getting everyone in on Thursday the having to cancel it after a few heats. Speedway starts too early anyway in the year and there are too many blank weeks in the summer when the weather is good. One postponed fixture in April is not the end of the world.

Much better to delay a week than run a shambles of a meeting in front of a big crowd.

They won't want the public seeing the track rutting up because it has had no chance to settle. We will get to pay £18 for that honour the following night so stay patient!

The new track won't happen. We will be in the same stadium and on the same track next season.

Yeah I thought he improved every time I saw him at Swindon in 2017 so hopefully that carries on in 19.
