  1. The silence in answer to a simple question sums up Speedways general communication strategy....
  2. Well I know someone who has tried the system to get an answer.... They were able to put over 1600 in their basket
  3. What is the restriction on crowd level? What limit has been agreed by the local authority?
  4. The BBC only give Speedway a mention when it's something bad - tossers
  5. I wont be getting any rushed, little tested, unproven vaccine for a virus that has no real effect on 98% of the population If that were to mean I cant go to Speedway then Ive seen my last meeting....
  6. That's my point the limit should be on the crowd numbers and not dependant on the level/status of the participants!! Plus it should also be tailored to each venue - the space at one venue is very different to another and the risk is variable accordingly
  7. I'm incredibly impressed that the scientists have been able run and prove analysis that the crowds that would attend an amateur meeting is one that has a lower risk of passing on infection than that attending 'elite events' After all that must be what has happened as the government all through this has only 'followed the science'......
  8. Yet indoor theatre performances with a live audience is now allowable from August 1st.... (Announced this morning)
  9. Sadly possibly true. Would pose some questions re concessions such as free children - that just wouldn't be viable surely.....
  10. Dean Cox of Spedeworth was interviewed on Radio Suffolk yesterday and stated they were working with approx 20% of the normal max capacity at Foxhall 20% may not be practical at many venues although at Foxhall it still allows for around 2000
  11. Dean Cox from the stocks on Radio Suffolk indicated that the max capacity is in the region of 20% of the norm for the opening meeting on the 25th By that at Foxhall that means it's still around 2000...
  12. Not as questionable as the fashion statement that is the Wulfsport jacket

  15. Agree with you on this. ANY spectators at a stock car meeting is pretty much all profit as the competitors pay to enter Speedway with a limited crowd (when even a full attendance potentially makes a loss) is a big call for a promotion to make
  16. Should make no difference - the number of competitors in the pits area as well as the number of paying spectators should be all that matters Whether a sport is amateur or professional isnt a scientific distinction made by a virus.......
  17. https://jaybeadesigns.co.uk/product/ipswich-witches-speedway-face-mask-preorder-delivery-last-week-in-july/
  18. Exactly that unless stated otherwise in the deal. Still a little crass mind to say the least.....
  19. My view would be that this would pull in less money than just sticking to the standard entry and many not turning up Many in the group you mention wont stream whatever the cost and many that would stream would watch together and share the cost
  20. Which wouldnt be a good sign for the UK as I've seen it stated that Sweden plan to use every Tuesday and Thursday...
  21. Anyone follow Adam Ellis? The bad news is he has fell off his mountain bike and broken his wrist (fingers crossed for a speedy recovery) The good news....... his post says he needs to work on his recovery to hopefully be ready when racing starts in a couple of weeks......
