  1. I can see your point and its certainly a valid and reasonable position but not one that the regulations supports To be on the list your have to commit to the scheme. If they can't commit then they shouldn't be on the list regardless if their NDL status
  2. Quite possibly - the no one else picked him line does seem rather unlikely So that instance may or may not be. One thing indisputable is the situation at Lynn 100% is manipulation.....
  3. Perhaps they have realised Harrison ISNT eligible to guest after all....... On the redeclaration us outgoing average is 3.16 and Boughen shows as 3 The rotating declaration is just another manipulation of the regs to effectively allow Harrison to guest
  4. Some common sense, professional organisation and co-operation which doesn't always seem to be the case! Despite this potentially being difficult for the Witches returning riders I applaud keeping the KO Cup on track All too often it is kicked aside and run in late October in horrendous conditions
  5. So the idea wasn't bad but the execution was....... Of course a blanket reset each year isn't likely to work. As you say tweaks needed in the regs as it develops Also agree the non Brits minimum average should be retained and raised
  6. Those poor Leicester fans who have paid out to travel when it could've been called off yesterday......
  7. It's quite sad to realise that Ipswich regularly took more fans to Lynn than attend in total at the majority of tracks today In fact if you take the exceptional 98 season that would be true for the majority of away meetings anywhere! Yet now its a small band of hardy souls in the main
  8. Just taking the opportunity for a wind up Still watching and following from a short distance
  9. Yeah they can do that - in that circumstance his average is irrelevant Too late to redeclare now though so stuck with the guest situation for Thursday
  10. You need to read the regulations (quoted in Aries post above) Average is taken into account when a RS guest is needed Witches need to press this as a point of principle The Kvech taking 2 RS rides was allowable by the regs although morally wrong. Harrison riding may be morally correct but isn't allowable within the regs - you can't have it both ways......
  11. It's scandalous that the Championship dropped the process - both reserve positions should be British newcomers in the 2nd tier No non Brit should be allowed near a 2nd tier reserve position
  12. The forecast may be bad It may rain The pit gate may need repair A hose could 'accidentally' be left on In speedway there's always a way if you need it.....
  13. Most of that Polish 'garbage' would be at least Championship heat leader standard....
  14. Hasn't Palovaara been here before and achieved a MA? Or is it a different one? The fact he has been reassessed doesn't matter - wasn't that one used to previously allow Lambert to guest or has that loophole been closed now......
  15. When he took his fall you would normally expect the race may be awarded - quite strange that it wasn't really. Perhaps he needed to have given it another lap before taking the dive......
  16. Dan isn't the RS so there would be his 5.06 available for a replacement
  17. Surely heat 12 has to be 3 riders only? Boughen would normally have to have 3 rides so should only be able to be replaced in 1 of his 2 remaining rides Should not be able to gain from an injury.....
  18. Average near 9 so conversion not much under 6 - limits what changes are possible/desirable
