  1. Well as the normal max capacity is 10-12,000 I'm sure there is no problem whatever they choose to do
  2. Plus the extra 1000 if they can get the 3rd bend seating opened up....... Also easy to mark the concrete terracing if required - no messy grass banking at Foxhall anymore
  3. Found the link https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-pilots-announced-for-return-of-spectators-to-elite-sport
  4. Just on government proposed listing at the moment - wont appear on SGB or Ipswich sites until full confirmation granted
  5. If a few of the big names were not there I'd say Chris would be good for a rostrum place
  6. Who plans to go to the British Final at Foxhall on Sept 26th
  7. Foxhall had over 2000 at the stock cars but is allowed zero for speedway
  8. I wouldnt put too much emphasis on Holders efforts at Foxhall - 8 times out of 10 he has been poor at best and a couple of times a complete embarrassment on his visits over the years His talent is undoubted but his temperament to date has been flawed. If he sorts that he could be among the elite Personally I have little time for him and wouldnt be upset to see him implode and become an also ran
  9. Did they ever get round to changing the set up that required the meeting to be held in November? If not I'm sure they will be agreeing matters now (indeed probably have for sometime already) ready for simple ratification in November with some teams already making firm plans and agreeing deals etc Rather like 2010 or any other year. All plain sailing and easy dont you think - it's not like any promoter/s would switch things around in November if a certain situation doesnt suit is it.......
  10. It's all very well saying it's all in the past but that's exactly what someone will form their present opinions from If you feel severely wronged by someone or a situation even if it was 10 years ago then it's no surprise if you have a little safrican american when you see something going awry with the perceived perpetrator Edit (its seems to s n i g g e r is no long allowed )
  11. Every year the basis for the next season is effectively agreed at pre meetings by August to then be ratified in November - a simple box tick in most cases If those decisions were subsequently altered it would be perfectly 'legal' but unusual and arguably immoral if certain teams had started in good faith Would be a typical example of not breaking the rules but being against the spirit
  12. Think that decision has been made for some time Very few clubs run individual meetings now
  13. OK I will bite Possibly due to the link being more than 13 years old...
  14. The whole population of Kings Lynn shares the same bloodline so count as one 'bubble'
  15. Oh well never mind. Will leave you to work it out if you can. If not then I'd just be wasting my time trying again
  16. Agree with that totally My reply was two fold - re professionalism and being allowed to run with crowds and the irony of the previous post it replied to re transponders
  17. Transponders and and timing loops - so cutting edge that the stock cars at Foxhall have it as standard . You know that grass roots amateur sport that due to the lack of professionalism can now run with a larger crowd than ever attends the speedway!!
  18. Fair point and could help boost capacity if it can be managed correctly
  19. No it's not- its 1m+ in all circumstances (additional precautions must be taken where less than 2) with a min 2 wherever possible A stand would be classed as 2m being possible and capacity restricted as such
  20. So there is 2 metres between row A and Row B etc and 2 metres between seat 1 an seat 3 etc? I call bull on that one - no stand in any stadium for any sport has that space and leg room The guidelines would have to alter significantly for 1 in 3 usage. Right now would be lucky for half that
  21. No way could you use 1 in 3 seats and meet the current distancing guidelines I do agree though if any clubs hold meetings in 2020 that Belle Vue will be one of them and possibly the only one even if it just the SON
