  1. There is a possibility of course that to get the government to agree to it as a test event it had to be something perceived as more prestigious such as THE British Final Why agree to an extra event if the BSPA asked to be able to run a random meaningless Open meeting
  2. I wasnt being critical of the choice as such just making the observation about the differing approach and potential link to level of achievement In my own life for example I am certainly more the journeyman than the world champ and happier for it!!
  3. It could be argued it is that attitude effort and application that is part of why certain riders make it to world class/champion level whilst others only reach the perennial journeyman level.......
  4. Heeps has British heritage too (hence he was able to ride in the NL)
  5. Also given more than double than the 1000 allowed wanted to attend at £20 plus costs I too would think it's still an attractive price
  6. Indeed Baldy - the complete opposite end of the stand to our normal choice!
  7. So the 99% who would be largely unaffected (if at all) have to endure indefinite effective house arrest to protect the 1% If the 99% dont get on with it there no money to look after anybody let alone the 1% and if the virus is as dangerous and resistant to anything else we can do as you believe it is then it will get them anyway in the end
  8. Between us in our household we have been to lots of places - The Crystal Maze Experience Warwick Castle Alton Towers Chessington Thorpe Park Legoland Sea Life Centre Music Lessons Have been working in the office and at school all through too Life is for living and we need to start getting on with it ASAP
  9. And even more bizarrely just a week later will see the cars run a World Final in the same stadium with a crowd nearly 3 times the size which is all perfectly fine as it's a grass roots amateur sport
  10. Unless they close pubs and restaurants again O dont see why this should change All individuals/bubbles will be socially distanced and outside If you cant do that we may as well all give up on any kind of normal life again It wont get better than this given the way it is being managed and recorded by governments and agencies
  11. Beerhuts sweet tub has a whole seasons worth of goodies waiting for us
  12. Isn't the name nothing more than a council vanity condition......
  13. Well as the normal max capacity is 10-12,000 I'm sure there is no problem whatever they choose to do
  14. Plus the extra 1000 if they can get the 3rd bend seating opened up....... Also easy to mark the concrete terracing if required - no messy grass banking at Foxhall anymore
  15. Found the link https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-pilots-announced-for-return-of-spectators-to-elite-sport
  16. Just on government proposed listing at the moment - wont appear on SGB or Ipswich sites until full confirmation granted
  17. If a few of the big names were not there I'd say Chris would be good for a rostrum place
