  1. Anything could happen with the inactivity most have endured A bit of a lottery really Hoping for a Witches win but prepared for heroic failure!
  2. That makes sense - the tweet seemed to indicate he was expecting to ride Best wishes to Adam - hope he has a symptom free time. Will be frustrating for him to get to this point and then be set back just as things start to get going
  3. Adam Ellis appears to have had quite a week going by the tweet put up today It appears to suggest he tested positive earlier in the week although a negative test has followed since Must say I'm confused as I thought a positive test meant isolation and certainly not travelling back to the UK regardless of a subsequent test result being negative Good to note he seems well which is most important and welcome
  4. There have many many comments in threads about attendance figures over the years There is an opportunity for someone that has the time and inclination (not me ) to solve the riddle this year All stadium capacity figures must be available somewhere and the online ticketing shows how many spaces remain Take one from the other and you have the attendance (apart from Foxhall which is the only place offering on the night sales I believe) Anyone up to the challenge????
  5. Yes Spot on Allowances have to be made for the strange folk from Kings Lynn Sorted before I got there
  6. How to cut down Trees - an idiots guide
  7. 15 match races it is then. Likely to go to a last heat decider
  8. It is visa issues that is the reason both will miss Monday
  9. Can't score when you're not there - he was due to miss near 60% of the fixtures
  10. Looks like we are - plus a guest for Stewart who has not yet received the required visa clearance too Agree with you Beerhut and Baldy that it shouldn't be the case. 2 x NL guests should be the ruling even when it hurts my team
  11. Amongst all the not unexpected (unfortunately) BS (when will the sport learn!) let's at least say welcome back Jake. I for one am glad he is in the team despite the circumstances
  12. I'd say realist rather than cynic (unfortunately) same old bs straight from the start Luckily cash on the night is still an option at Foxhall and I will be taking that option and evaluating developments before parting with my hard earned each time With a 2000 initial capacity I don't see myself missing out as a result!
  13. I think most people saw the Klindt situation being odds on this would happen Visa delays it seems with Stewart. Processes have to be followed and the next can't begin until the previous is complete Just goes to show that whilst everything changes nothing really changes
  14. A lot of councils seem to have imposed very low limits in this phase Even Ipswich at 2000 is only about 20% of the normal potential capacity
  15. To be fair state pension age is now upto 68 for many and no lower than 65 for any If someone has been able to retire at 60 then they can afford full price......
  16. Because there's twice the space???? If only all tracks had as much space as you can find between a Panthers fans ears
  17. Let's say they do lose £200 from those 100 like minded - that equals £20,000 If they still get 1000 to each meeting then that's £2 extra x 1000 (£2000) per meeting So even running just 10 meeting means no loss overall for the promotion in raw terms Of course there are other less tangible losses but that is a different debate
  18. Think there may be something happening on Friday
  19. 2019 price £18 Inflation at 2.5% for 2 years is pretty much £19....
  20. It doesn't affect those who contributed to that as they still have their season ticket for the same price.....
