  1. Surprised they have been changed. After all speedway has a habit of keeping supporters in the dark
  2. Basso needs to complete 4 home and 4 away league fixtures to achieve a true average first
  3. Over 30 years ago perhaps No such regulation exists any longer
  4. They are all as bad as each other. No one can take the high ground overall A sham and a shambles the lot of them
  5. Unusual for a speedway rider to be so knowledgeable
  6. Ipswich have form for completely ballsing up changes due to not understanding the regulations so on balance you are probably correct
  7. I'd say they've just ignored it as 3 teams needed to break it (granted Kings Lynn could argue long term injury but Kildemand wasn't coming regardless it seems) The other 3 could've blocked it I suppose but as 1 is owned by the same promoter and another has the same main sponsor that was never likely to happen was it..... The bump in the carpet continues to rise
  8. May as well scrub that regulation from the book.... Speedway being speedway
  9. On the Polish coverage over the weekend one of the Pawlickis was interviewed . No idea what was said as in Polish but in the middle was mentioned "Ipswich Witches" Could be a red herring but why would the Witches be mentioned mid TV interview of a Polish league meeting.....
  10. Would love to see that too How great it would be to have a league with Bewley Woffinden Lambert Vaculik Lindgren etc and the likes of Pawlicki(s) Smektala Kubera too as well as more of the Danes..... Not gonna happen though for some time if ever again
  11. I had no doubt it would be sanctioned whatever the right and wrong of the regulation Almost certainly was all agreed weeks ago - can't imagine Belle Vue would've risked it without a nod from the outset Sums up the sports current pitiful standing within the world set up that such pandering is necessary to be able to fill a paltry 6 teams in the top division
  12. Continuing to repeat this particular comment does you no credit Phil We know you have knowledge and contacts and many look to your input as an important gauge of fact or fiction in certain situations Smug trolling is beneath you
  13. There has never been a 25% regulation in previous years Don't worry I forgive you for your stupidity
  14. Which hasn't happened but the initial declaration and the start of the season has.... With this comment you have just confirmed that the regulation hasn't been enforced
  15. More questions than answers Regulations are a basket case.....
  16. Does it matter? It adds to the entertainment. The regulations, integrity and transparency are just secondary considerations to be ignored as required - just ask Belle Vue fans........
  17. The bullsh!t being spouted about league and league Cup is just smoke and mirrors to justify the manipulation The regulation applies to the team declarations prior to the start of the season. It doesn't matter what competition has started or otherwise The fact that only League matches are quoted for the 25% makes no difference it still doesn't state you can make changes earlier As Bigcatdiary suggests they simply haven't applied the regulation and instead have copped out with the alternative "best interest" regulation British Speedway has no integrity as a sporting competition as a result
  18. You are correct that no rules have been broken as they are regulations The regulations apply from the start of the season (March 15th). All apply to the team declarations prior to the commencement of the season
  19. That Belle Vue appear to be getting away with it - I could not agree more
