  1. If that's the case they can't replace him after he goes as he is not injured and it's outside the transfer window It has to be no facility until 25% of league fixtures complete .....
  2. That's where the lack of transparency rears its head again I understand it as Kildemand being declared with Iversen in as a 28 injury replacement only Given that I would say Iversen CANNOT stay as after the 28 days he has to leave. If he was to stay then it would be a change which isn't within the rules
  3. I think that has happened a few times now so can't see it being an issue He was declared initially so seems logical A facility for PUK would be a much greyer area in my mind as he isn't in the 1-7 officially and his agreed time is simply finishing
  4. Would be a facility for Kildemand surely with Pickering going to No1 as per original declaration .....
  5. Why - is there a cut off date ? I'd assumed the final would be in October regardless
  6. Witches are out - can only get to 7 points and Boro already on 8 Lynn just need to win either meeting to progress Interesting point perhaps that Lynn could go out after not losing a single meeting in the group during the main 15 heats 2 super heat losses for Lynn would see Boro through......
  7. Having a regulation that's limits team changes and introduces a window for those transfers doesn't fit with allowing 28 day signings whatever the reasons It gives a potential advantage to the team/s that have been granted the 28 day facility There is the example of riders now potentially becoming available should a team fail in Sweden but no other team could take advantage due to the transfer restriction except those incompetent enough to fail to put together a full team despite having 6 months to do so......
  8. Good point Baldy Thinking like a true Speedway administrator
  9. Even more ironic that the historic No1 "have team" had to drop down to stay as a big fish rather than risk regression to a minnow.....
  10. An incredible shock to hear this news Whatever your opinion of Nigel as a commentator it makes no odds - this primarily is about a man , a husband and a father gone too soon Less importantly but worth acknowledgement is that Speedway has also lost a passionate advocate and one that had connections in places that Speedway needs to regain influence and one who will be sadly missed RIP Nigel
  11. I would estimate 2500 last night - the envy of any track in the country. Couple that with the best Club sponsor and it is baffling....... Produce surfaces and performances like last night too often though and part one of that equation will soon drop.......
  12. Most disappointing part of tonight was the track which made any real racing almost impossible Trap , pin the line and don't get passed. A small chance out of bend 2 on lap1 if you use your head Mind you there is no accounting for continuing to try what obviously won't work over and over again!!
  13. I raise you Rowe scoring 5 where Leicester totalled 65 ..... he beat Clegg and a NL no7 along with 3 non finishers.....
  14. Of the Witches 7 only Riss seems to have shown any great form so far Others have been less convincing with indeed a few rather ropey performances Boro have looked rather sharper in general and will be favourites
  15. Exciting stuff - just over a week into the season and I'm just one away from a line on Harris guest bingo already!
  16. Great result for the Witches who avoid defeat for the second consecutive Thursday
  17. I'm not sure any speedway meeting is particularly important let alone an early season league Cup warm up....
