  1. Point accepted re Dyer to a great extent. Still leaves too many others. I think we all agree that it would be good to see more British youngsters though both in the north and south.
  2. A bit naughty to edit out the other 7 names when quoting a post!!It has taken a while for Dyer to show any form - perhaps if the NL Brits were given the same chance a few of them would show the same progress.
  3. Looked good on his first visit to Foxhall and has improved each time I think.A shame theres little chance of him being a Witch next year.
  4. Jorgy - very fast after a first heat last Sneddon - quick from the start and good value Wethers/Pjiper/Tully - hit and miss Campton - a couple of lively heats Helfer - should of stayed at home.
  5. Ipswich no1 did get a full max though - Doolan for Redcar!!
  6. Working on it with a max in 10. Boo!! Jorgy spoils the dream!! Super choice of guest for the Monarchs.
  7. Leigh still on for his max after heat 1 !! Still on after heat 6!!
  8. Best - qualifying for cup semi finals in June Worst - having to wait until the middle of October for the cup semi finals when you have blank dates in the calender.
  9. Time will tell!! Was meant a bit tongue in cheek but no smiley option on my phone.
  10. A bit harsh on Tay Id say given his recent return from a serious injury
  11. Aljack is gradually digging himself deeper into a hole - perhaps he will soon be able to become the Witches Aussie talent scout!!!
  12. On Witches website shows home 6.71 and away 6.79(not inc Rye away)
  13. I would think at least 5 clubs will be chasing Leigh on a sub 7 average.
  14. Indeed - and not the first time away from home that Leigh's performance has gained us points.
  15. A great away win last night but the play offs are still a long shot imo. I believe we need to double the Monarchs to put ourselves back in the frame. Whilst this is possible it is far from probable.
  16. Is Tia Tai's sister? I would say no Brit just for the sake of it. If BSI decides there has to be one I think they will go with Tai with an eye to the future as he does have the talent to become a top ten regular. Chris hasnt let his nation down - he has just struggled in what is a tough competition!!
  17. We must stick by Tay. It was always going to be a struggle in the first few weeks. He is still adapting how he rides and his set up due to the limitations in his strength whilst he regains full fitness. I know on Thursday after struggling to turn the bike in heat 1 he had to completely change his set up - sprocket size, bike length, jet size, tyre pressures - to make it spin more and easier to turn the bike.
  18. Another notable showing from young Nielsen last night. Would be very happy to see his name at No7 next year. I believe he could average 4 at PL level next year.
  19. Talking to yourself is the first sign of madness!I hope you find help soon - all the best.
  20. Very good of the Monarchs to agree to a restaging so quickly.Rumour has it the date for the cup semi against the Witches is still to be agreed and could replace the New Year Classic!
  21. After Glasgow I think we have reached the cut off for averages to determine the September riding order. Thanks in advance to those that can keep us plebs without the spreadsheet up to date!!
  22. Nicki P Holder Hampel Harris Two Tribes (Hancock/Sayfutdinov)
  23. Its taking a while to build up the muscle in the arm and he is struggling particularly when its grippy.
