  1. At least they didnt guests for those!! If they did they may have been better!! (joke) Seriously I wouldnt care if there are just the results and no comments or the most ridiculous comments - I am just grateful to be able to view thescores real time. (even the nightmare ones like last night!) A fantastic service and hats off to all involved. A product of the rolling averages meaning you can build a team that in 'real terms' is 3 points above the limit.
  2. Cook and Dyer got nearly as many as the Worky riders putogether as well. Wink! Good luck in the next round.
  3. Adam is a 3 point rider - 6 at home and nil away this time. So he did his job. Cant believe anyone is having a go at him for 1 no score meeting!!!
  4. Thats a shame I was hoping for some rain - would have been fun on here if Conets were leading 39-21 and it was called off after heat 10! (winking smiley!)
  5. Sheffield as in considered by many the weakest team in the league and who lost their No1 in heat1? As I said it could still be close and certainly isnt over.
  6. Perhaps Cook will chose the Witches! Could still be tight. The first 5 heats are crucial. If the Comets get off to a flier (literally in Bachs case - Barbara you shouldve gone to Specsavers) then it will get tense. I fancy the Witches to do enough and stay within 14 to go through. Another ringer to strenthen you up! Then again you need it!
  7. Sponsored by Jack White organs in the old days I think. Not sure if anything still in place now.
  8. As good the fast time in heat 2 was I was more impressed with the first turn in heat 14 - real class effort.
  9. Cracking result for theWitches. Tungates best performance to date and he is now looking very classy. Well done to Ritchie - a solid determined effort and just what we needed from No2. Super fast track tonight which was so good it made it hard to pass but there were a few really good moves like Doyle in 15. Adam with 57.2 in heat 2. By my reckoning thete may only be 2 quicker times EVER at Foxhall - thats some feat and he eased up over the line. It will be a big disappointment if we cant hold on to a 20 poiny lead. Up the Witches!!
  10. Cook in for Lawson tightens up the score for me. My original hoped for 14 point lead cut to 10 in my prediction. By the way what is the news on Lawson? Is he out for the second leg as well or not?
  11. Im going for a 52-38 Witches win which would set up a second leg where both sides would feel they have a chance of progressing. Lets just hope both legs get 15 heats in this time so there can be no arguement over the result!
  12. Is there a booby prize for worst result ever after my Lindback Lindgren Kasprazak Vaculik choices for this one!!
  13. I know one club that should be considering giving him a chance. Whether they are or will is a different matter.
  14. Just so things dont get complicated the Witches better just win by 7 and put an end to it!!
  15. Having ex riders like Kelvin and others involved with young British riders I believe is vital to future development. I once had the pleasure of sitting between Kelvin and another rider in an Exeter taxi whilst he explained gating technique and clutch control. As a fan with no riding experience it is fascinating to hear how such small adjustments can make so much difference.
