  1. 1500 seats in with I understand 6000 in the pipeline. Spedeworth are indeed Speedway friendly at Foxhall (long may it continue) and they get a decent rent for it. Im sure they would be happy to see Speedway crowds double as they also have control over food and drink outlets.!
  2. Full price for the TOP international would be £20+ so normal PL price is in effect a reduction due to it being second level teams.
  3. Whilst I tend to agree with your outlook as what seems to be common sense if rule 2 does take precedence over rule 1 then surely Newcastle wouldve been granted a facilty. As it wasnt granted then surely that means rule 1 has precedence over rule 2. So it seems the hardline approach would be to enforce the rule and make Ludvig stand down from 1 team whilst the practical common sense approach has actually been taken. Of course the result is that any such similar situation or variation of and any hardline interetation of the rule is impossible. Eg Adam Ellis at Lakeside where he technically doesnt qualify due to not having a 2012 average. Of course the common sense solution is still to let him double up anyway. If that doesnt happen then further questions arise.
  4. Not listed on BSPA events link. Possible that they could get Plymouths place if Proctor is out. If they do surely Worrall isnt elligible? Thought it had to be 2 of the top3 by average at the start of the season and Worral is 5. Tully is of course injured but to get down to Worrall would mean Lindgren not prioritising British fixtures again - and this one hasnt been rearranged!
  5. Strange that Tungate has been named - Poole are riding that night arent they? Heeps would be been a fair pick in his place at Foxhall.
  6. Pretty even match up that could serve up a real treat of a meeting. Barker v North round 2 to look forward to as well.
  7. Doesnt that Twitter comment re not paying the fine and that Sweden takes priority for him mean that Ludvig is confirming he is not prepared to make Britain his absolute priority as the rule requires? Would surely have been wiser to have said he was frustrated he couldnt ride as he wouldve been banned by SVEMO that he understands and accepts the fine and hopes he is not put in such an impossible position in the future.
  8. Woffinden Holder Iversen Lindgren Harris Final - Woffinden Sayfutdinov Holder Gollob
  9. Does anyone know when we will find out the seme final draw? Does the imfamous BSPA hat make an appearance!?
  10. Never in doubt that the Witches would win comfortably but even given that the Devils were very disappointing. Great pass from Cook on Wells. Rohan and Morten pretty much untroubled and Cam will be disappointed to miss out on a full house. You wait for so long fir a Witches rider to score a max ( I cant remember the last one) and then 3 in 1 night!
  11. Lots of work done in the last half hour - top effort as track looks ok. Will be a bit slippy for a couple but so long as no more rain could turn into a good one.
  12. I thought the judge said that you werent allowed within 500 metres of a playground!! PmslSee ya tonight mate
  13. Im on Foxhall Rd today.Light rain started about 3. Looks to be set in for while. Will need to hope for a clear spell later!!
  14. Only confirmed in the crazy world of Jengas mind it seems.Id much rather see Wells at Foxhall anyway.
  15. He may have a blinder - which to date would be any score over 8!One thing it will show us is the potential difference Cook v Lawson made in the cup. The comments are rather tongue in cheek as Foxhall aside Lawson has been a fast learner and deservedly won much praise for it.
  16. If you read the thread you will see a number of Witches fans have posted that we should/could have gone with r/r. Lawson is welcome to guest against us at Foxhall anytime!!
  17. Is Mear a temp signing? He has today been 'rested' by Lakeside being replaced by Adam Ellis.
  18. Thats the first time I have seen racing at Berwick and it was certainly fast and furious. The limitations of the dimensions of a dual purpose stadium mean there really is only one line and unless there is a big mistake or a rider doesnt get out where you need to be I cant see any way to pass that doesnt involve an eyes closed kamikazi dive bomb.
  19. I reckon Cookie could have his eyes closed and still make a better start than some at times!!
  20. Totally agree Beerhut - season ticket is now very poor value given the meeting restrictions and no programme. The trouble is that would a reduced price attract 'new fans'? If it worked out £12 a meeting I would buy one but the club would be worse off compared to my gate money minus 2or3 missed for holidays etc I do think the sport needs to pitch itself at £12 / £25 family level. Only problem is that if it doesnt bring in those extra hoped for fans then the financial position would be perilous. Its easy to say speculate to accumulate when its someone elses money!!
  21. All PL - Rye , Sheffield, Worky, Newcastle - spread over next couple of months.
