I agree that a full redeclaration of points should happen.
Given that the decision has been made to simply remove points resulting from the r/r then it could be argued the tac points should also be removed as it was only as a result of r/r that they were gained.
Back to 3 points to the Bears either way I say!
Surely the Northampton plan is just a bluff to show an alternative is available so as to force a more favourable deal at the Ricoh. In the same sort of way Brandon was being touted as such.
Bridger to date hasnt appeared to have the application to match his talent.
This year it does seem he has found more focus and improved vastly on the types of tracks outside his comfort zone.
I think he can feel a bit hard done by to have been overlooked.
I think it will be tight - if there is not much in it early on then it will be tense.
If we start strong and build a lead then the double bubble kicks in and that may well make it tight again and therefore tense.
I dont expect there to be more than 4 points in it at the end on agg so will plump for a last heat decider with the Witches edging it.
Very happy with that result - all to play for and anyones guess as to who will go through.
The most important result may be how serious Bens injury is though - fingers crossed.
With regard to the riding order I have said before that perhaps Rohan should be at 5 .
