A good point in the end and perhaps those that thought there would be no motivation after a poor start may have to think again. Super Morten once again - unbeaten after a first ride third where he also lead it seems. I think we should take the positives from this one and leave the sniping at individuals out - everyone scored something after all and its a team game.

I am aware of the £55 limit hence the wink at the end.Where theres a will theres a way! As an aside - are there any clashes with Swindon meetings and will the normal PL preference still apply? It has been mentioned that EL will get preference where the PL fixture is a change from the original fixture list. Does signing part way through the season count as a change and switch preference? -
Adam has made a superb start at Ipswich. I have been incredibly impressed with his race awareness as much as his speed - he has posted the 2nd fatest time EVER at Foxhall already! Yes he has some rough edges - eg overlocking - but he is every bit the exciting prospect he is being touted as. The most important part of all is that he seems to have a determination to go with his talent and doesnt seem the 'big I am' type who thinks he has already made the big time.

Len should take any early decision and postpone all meetings until June then! -
I havent made a trip to Leicester and cant again this time. If all what I read is true the Witches will need their gating gloves on. It would interesting to hear the thoughts of the Lions fans that came to Ipswich as to how the racing compared to a typical Leicester meeting. The Lions were actually 2 up at Foxhall at heat 7 so must start as favourites at home. I think the Witches will get something from this one but difficult to decide if it will be 1 2 or 3 points so I'll go down the middle for a draw.

Just the last couple of heats. The breeze takes any dust away from the pits towards bend 2 and the back straight. Had the full sun been out earlier it may have caused more of an issue. In heat 15 from bend 2 it was hard to see then entering bend 3. A small price to pay for such a good performance Id say.

For an afternoon meeting that was pretty good. A couple of excellent heats including Bens win from last to first from nowhere which Im sure will be in this years superheats. Shame that Morten just missed out on a max eh Jackal!! Looked touch and go at half way so it really was a great effort to win by as many.
