  1. Definitely not! If there has to be additional fixtures they must not be from the same LC group.
  2. you need to put the book 'How to decipher sarcasm' on your Christmas list!
  3. So you could get the situation of 2 sides meeting in LC PL1 PL2 Koc LCF and play offs which would be about 1 in every 4 meetings.
  4. Had the set up enabled us to track Cam and Rohan at reserve then it may have been a different story. The changes announced simply dont suit how we are currently positioned. we wouldve missed you too much!! Besides if you remove that all important piece the whole tower falls!! (see what I did there!!)
  5. Quite possible that both will be on the A grade list for allocation. Even if one us A and one is B then would be a surprise if both were allocated to the same side when both are 4+ PL riders.
  6. Cam and Rohan must be in the line up however it is put together. They could/should both be 8 point plus next year. The big advantage of looking to go with a No1 like Worrall would be that it would take some pressure off them moving up to that spot if they achieve that.
  7. They would be excellent choices IMO. Richie is only going one way and Steve seemed to get his mojo back at the end of the season. I also like the idea of a core of Brits if possible.
  8. The bottom 3 in the quoted line up are! 3 3 and 3.52 I believe.
  9. Id quite look forward to a meeting frim Leicester if only for the novelty value! It cant be that bad surely......
  10. Youre right because they wont ride against the No1 in any of their heats!!
  11. just worked out that only 4.70 left with Worrall in and Ben/Morten out so to bring in one of those two would also need Jacobs/Schramm in for Hawkins. Or Ben/Morten/Ritchie out R Worrall/Sneddon/S Worrall in.
  12. Ben 8.44 and Morten 6.90 out Wells 7.81 and Sneddon 5.52 in Wells Lanham Tungate Heeps Sneddon Ellis Hawkins 42.49 (I think!!)
  13. Why would they be banished back to the NL? I wouldnt be surprised to see all 20 allocated to be in PL sides anyway and the A grade riders wont bein the NL at all. I think the biggest problem will be when an A grade is injured- do you allow the other A graders to guest or do you promote from further down the list? The first option defeats the development ethos and the second severely weakens the affected team.
  14. My doubts are based on what the riders will actually gain from this. If the likes of Newman Howarth andGarrity are in the allocation what will they learn? They are already PL 2nd strings and will now be getting additional races at the equivalent of NL heat 13 PL heat 2 and PL heat 8. The likes of Ellis Nielsen Blackbird are not too far off the same position. These will be looking to push for PL heat leader positions and aiming for PL heat 15 which would offer them better experience. The ring fencing of heats will do little for their development IMO.
  15. Especially as they would run PL. Why would they want to buy Andersen Bjerre Batchelor etc and half a dozen poles.
  16. Id prefer to see qualifiers for the 4s instead of 1 of the add on league matches. Im sure others can think of better 'fillers' as well.
  17. Ben and Morten out with Worrall plus a 5ish pointer in would work.
  18. We need to shed exactly 3 points. Option 1 Replace Ben only and go strength in depth. Up to 6.44 available. Those on 5.80 - 6.44 are Aspergren Bellego Tabaka Fricke Kerr Lemon Kus Nelson Bunyan Howe Jorgensen Aarnio Option 2 go with a 'No1' and make other changes Possibles -Wells Morris Lawson Bach Allen Auty Bech Dyer Bjerre Doolan Karlsson Worral Alden Pijper With Rohan and Cam an absolute must that means we would need to drop Morten or Leigh and bring in a 5 pointer or go with two 3 pointers. Time for new batteries in the calculator!!
  19. Of course Lynn may look to put Kerr in their 1-5 in which case he wouldnt be in the draft. I think given the level of riders at the lower end of most 1-5s he is more than capable plus he may well get 1 ride against the NL drafted riders if at the correct position in the riding order.
  20. and that is why I threw in the post about Cam Heeps. He is no longer Brit elligible but technically fits the criteria (or at least the outline provided) so when a club finds itself with a gap for their A grade reserve do you think they will be happy accepting the replacement who is currently at No30 in the NL averages??
  21. So the criteria is... British passport previously rode NL but never EL Under 21 ...Cameron Heeps anyone??!!
  22. Unfotunately Tay is a no go - busted his leg a while ago and has quit.
  23. Thanks Blu - have seen that elsewhere as well now! The drip drip drip has started.... ... not sure if thats the information or chinese water torture though!!
