The way I see it the reduction is for the 3 seasons after first attaining an average. So if first average was 2011 then reduction applies in 2012 2013 and 2014. If Birks fits that heshould get it too. That does mean Leighs ommission isnt due to the numbers game as he would fit for Morten. Unless of course they hadnt factored in the reductions until after he was signed. If so a schoolboy error.

I feel a bit mixed about this one. No doubt he has ability but if he comes in on a 7 it is quite a risk where there are other safe options available. If he comes in on a 5 then I think he is likely to improve on that but I dont agree that he should come in that low.
