  1. Wasnt being pendantic - hadnt realised he even lined up for any team. Id say that counts as riding given for example Tully being injured in practice was acceptable to obtain r/r.
  2. News on radio this morning that Ritxhie Hawkins will be captain in 2014.
  3. Take someone investing even a modest £1m in a stadium against a rental at a figure of say £50k a season. Thats 20 seasons rent equivalent (mininmun given freeholder costs) so the owner/renter arguement doesnt stack up. The 2 nights weekly being just too much for even many ardent fans is much more to the point.
  4. How can someone 'technically ride' - he either did or didnt! Then again 'technically' it seems Brady Kurtz is a 3 pointer.
  5. I understand it to be for the 3 seasons AFTER establishing an average. So if first rode and obtained an average in 2011 therefore gets the reduction in 12,13 and 14.
  6. No his full concentration is on hoodwinking British Speedway.
  7. that actually makes more sense that many Jenga posts! lol
  8. thats quite funny! Kings Lynn are also going to sign Robert Lambert now but not use him. Then they will encourage him to take out a German licence (EU rules atc etc) He will do really well ,perhaps get a GP call up etc etc Then in a couple of years bring him in on a 3 - after all thats what they signed him on! Yeah that should work - after all there will have been a precedent set in Brady Kurtz.
  9. I will take a slighty different tack and suggest the best and worst averages each may end with. Richie Worrall - more than capable of kicking on to 9.50. Could suffer a bit of fatigue with increased international commitments causing a dip but even worst case no less than 8.25. Rohan Tungate - Could challenge for the No1 spot at 9. Falls into the promising but stagnates category a t 7. Morten Risager - Takes his chance and reaches 7.5. Misses out the purple patches and ends at 6. Cameron Heeps - Continues to flourish and gets to 8. Consolidates at 6.5 Gino Manzares - First season revelation and comes in at 6. Struggles paticularly away and hits 4.5. Adam Ellis - the 2014 Heeps at 6.5. 2nd season syndrome and 4.25 Ritchie Hawkins - Back to his best 5.5. Bruv forgets his fuel taps a few times and stays at 4. So in general great potential to improve and falls less likely.
  10. It not about other Aussies coming in on a 3 before though. Where that has happened it has been within the rules as they havent previously ridden in Oz Championships or in other professional leagues. BK has and therefore shouldnt qualify. Its not really about how good or otherwise he is it is the fact that he clearly in the wrong category.
  11. NSW - is that Newcomer to the South West? Never saw that fixture listed on the BSPA site!
  12. I took this to mean a League sponsor - money to clubs and then a tv coverage sponsor - majority money to Sky to offset production costs.
  13. If Brady Kurtz is on a 3 you will need to include the Brit reduction for Cam Heeps too.
  14. Cheers - looks approx 8.20 -very impressive and very cat 2. Edited to alter category number as I got it wrong - just like the current decision!
  15. What average did Brady Kurtz achieve in the Danish League last year?
  16. This is the point I have made a couple of times. Strength of control over the list is key.
  17. If Kurtz isnt on the list he cant be included. The strength of control over the list is key. Dont invite him to join the list and refuse if he asks - end of problem. The more pressing issue is why he is on a 3 in the PL when he has ridden in the OZ U21 and in the Danish leagues. Thats 2 categories that are outside him being classed as a British 3 pointer IMO. Just a case of whether he should be a 5 or a 7 rather than a 3.
  18. I take it you mean Brady Kurtz.Funny I thought 5 was bigger than 4.30! Wink
  19. That was certainly the impression I got.Anyway water under the bridge - no point in dwelling on it too much now. I rather the next 4 months were about more postive points.
  20. Perhaps it is a bit harsh on him and in general many of my posts last season said as such. However there was an order change and it was down to that rift and results seem to indicate it unbalanced the team sonewhat. Like you say that sort of thing happens at many clubs but we dont need it again. Im sure all involved are mature enough to put it aside and get on with doing what needs to be done.
  21. universal mediocrity - the watchword of modern Britain some would say! maybe the Anglian Cup!
  22. The way I see it any fiddle (if there even is one planned) can only happen if the collective allow it. Choices have to be from a certain position off the allocated list. If the rider isnt on the list he isnt an option or if he isnt low enough in the ranking he isnt an option. Be strong with the list and there can be no manipulation anyway even if desired.
  23. Who will be the interim No5 then? Lambert couldnt be in a declared line up before his birthday and you will need an initial declaration before April 5th.
