  1. I think all on here are in agreement that a season ticket is not great value - miss 2 and you are out of pocket. The kids summer deal did seem to work - I saw people who otherwise hadnt been all year. Perhaps they could do a kids season ticket at a £ or 2 a meeting - that way you may get some extra regular paying adults.
  2. If Holder is given a pick but not fit to start I take it that Chris Harris would be in until Holder returned?
  3. I think Ive mentioned before about the atmosphere being difficult due to Foxhall being a vast open bowl. Even when people do get excited it just disappears into the air. Perhaps we could try only having the mid section of the main stand used - everyone has to sit there. If the whole crowd was together it would help.
  4. Decent spot on BBC sports news. 20 secs including footage of his last bend to clinch the title and him lifting the trophy.
  5. Always start high when negotiating a sale! winkedit Bringing back bad memories of us turning down £15k for Savalas Clouting. lol
  6. But without gaters like Greg there would be no one to pass! wink
  7. Where are the Bears going to fund the £50k needed to buy Heeps from?
  8. In reality I dont see one big league happening. Even without Sky funds I cant see a number of the Elite coming down to that sought of level. Perhaps we will see a Super 6 set up with the other 4 joining the PL.
  9. Depends on the limit. I didnt add it up at first. Estimate this team at about 50 on PL terms 30 El so perhaps a little low but probably not too much. For the majority of PL clubs to accept an almalgamation it would have to be close to that.
  10. I dont know - Im always happy to hear about Nicki missing out!
  11. we will find out if you are right in the next minute or so!
  12. hes not gonna make it easy for us is he! squeaky bum time!
  13. One big league Nicholls Barker Tungate Heeps Lanham Ellis Hawkins
  14. Very good to see him rebuilding his confidence. Im always pleased to see the younger Brits do well. Hope he will be back at this higher level next year and putting his career back on track. Must mention Morten - how ironic and frustrating that he puts in probably his best away performance of the year even beating Cook just when it couldnt count for anything less!
  15. My pre season prediction for World Champ was Hampel. Will never be more pleased to be wrong than tomorrow! Come on Tai.
  16. Cant blame given the circumstances. He could easily have sat out many weeks himself with his wrist injury but battled through with mainly remarkable results. Few realise just how bad it has been at times. Our rider of the year by a distance.
  17. Just to clarify I liked the above Shovlar post for the content about Tai and not the fact that he nearly choked on his cereal! wink
  18. You have it right - Ritchie did come did fall and did clear the track just as you imagined. A doubt for tonight with reoccuring niggle!
  19. Hawkins v Sneddon was the main difference tonight. At the outset most would have called that match up pretty even but Ritchie had 'one of those nights' whilst Derek was inspired. Congratulations to the Monarchs.
  20. can you PM me with tomorrows Euromillions numbers please Arson! lol
  21. Awful night very little racing. Klindt absolutely woeful. If he gets a team place here next year then I wont come!
