Hopefully any additions wiil be ranked and I would say that where a change is made it should be for a lowered ranked rider and not just any on the list. -

Great to see Leigh sorted. Solid ultra professional and a great team man. All the best mate! The return of Tay much less expected. Terrible luck with injuries but if he can come back without being troubled by them then he could be a bargain signing. I think Bruv still has the Chuggington scooter all set up and ready to go if you need it! -

Havent the draft riders in the main done that? The fact that they have been chosen for the draft is because they have been noticed as having the ability to progress. No idea - but perhaps that why they are so keen to come here. Dont get me wrong I am not against talent from outside the UK at all - so long as it is talent and not just filler. -

Re the Brum/WK tennis match - you are both right!! In the EL the racers are in general better(faster) but in the PL the races are often better(closer) Both can be/are great. Enjoy them for what they are - the same but different! -

So that seems to make Blackbird an Ipswich asset ( as is the other Boro reserve) Quite ironic then that they will both ride against the Witches on Good Friday whilst our own reserve will be elsewhere with his parent club! -

Im sure that was his final rolling average. He may qualify for a reduction as he has missed a whole season. -

Looks like we wont be seeing Bjarne or Bridger for a start so not all bad! -
Im not in favour of offering riders who havent been prepared to ride in Britain a big pay day and practice before their 'real' season starts. Surely if they need to blow away the cobwebs and get a bit of practice in they will ride for expenses only. That way they get their practice and British Speedway earn some benefit too by not having to fork out a fortune and therefore increasing the shareout . Perhaps the few thousand saved could part fund the U21 trips for this year.

That Matt Ford is a genius - now he can even hack the Sky Sports website to leak the news!!(and delete it again) (tongue in cheek sarcastic smiley not available on phone) -

Whilst I agree with the new changes givubg priority to clubs using their own assets I would temper you arguement re the split of assets. The EL have had a distinct advantage in gathering assets in that they can sign and claim a rider without him turning out for them. A few on your list fit that category and you could say that without the other leagues that there would be no way these would ever develop to a point where they are usable. In summary Id say that there has to be at least 2 tiers and they need to work in unison to ensure a clear opportunity of progression. FWIW despite my team being adversely affected (Ipswich -Worrall/Ellis) I think the changes are the fairest solution to a difficult problem. -

Will the newbie even know if the teams are missing any of their normal riders though and if they do will they be bothered? It will be the regulars that will be narked by it. Agree it will be a shame if Adam misses so many meetings especially as his PL rides may well be against tougher opposition compared to his EL draft rides! -

You may well be right re Adam as this is certainly the case re the 'normal' double up positions. That said there has been nothing official yet as to whether the same guidelines apply to the draft riders. -

Lots of threads mentioning that the fixtures will be released at 9am tomorrow. Which fixtures are the ones you most look forward to? For me this year it will be the return of the battles with the Panthers. -

Paranoia!! A Brit can be signed by an EL club as an asset without the requirement to ride a minimum number of meetings. Eg Adam Ellis - Lakeside. This is no longer applicable to non Brit riders so it depends whether Brady is accepted as a Brit as to whether it is a possibilty in this case. not by you though I take it!
