  1. So long as there is consistency and his situation meets the guidelines/rules then no worries.
  2. It has been debated on another thread and the fact that he has ridden in the top Danish League already may have an impact on his starting average.
  3. No offence but I hope they dont. In fact quite the opposite - the restrictions should remain as tight as possible. Also any non Brit joining the PL should not br able to drop below their initial assessed average. That way if they are good enough to add something to the league they will find a place and if not they wont block a space to give a young Brit a chance.
  4. Whenever the set period would end I would be surprised if there wasnt a proviso for a change should there be a shift in team numbers.
  5. Seems EL promoters dont want to learn. Coventry have announced the signings of Harris and Hansen and have already requested an average reassessment for Hansen!! If this is how its still going to be then we are best off out of it.
  6. A wonderful service that is much appreciated. Many thanks to all involved.
  7. No surprise that the likes of Dudek are not interested in the UK then! Equally surprising that someone such as Cook (not critisizing him) cant get a place. You would think that he and others could 'undercut' and still make a decent living. Obviously the Polish tracks dont see the money possibly saved as a good enough reason to give then a go.
  8. £900 a point!?! Is there really ANY rider on that sought of deal anyway that means a cap is needed?
  9. they would be the bookies favourite to take the drop. would allow them to have more regular weekend racing and could cover the costs on their reported 700 crowds.the travel would hell though for any locals!
  10. Apparently Mick Horton on a Coventry phone has intimated that there would be 11 teams in the Elite next year. Given that Leicester seemed nailed on to join either the Witches are staying put or an existing is dropping out.
  11. But for NL teams the'asset' system works rather differently I beleive.
  12. or the fact EOES was quoted (East of England Showground)
  13. they will need a weeks holday to edit the multitude of suggestions on various threads when the real limit is finally announced!
  14. Any news yet TNT? Im eager to know just how rubbish I was this year!! Thanks for your efforts once again. Adds a bit to the fun even when youre having a disaster like me!
  15. But of course TWK there would be a play off and the Berwick representative could drop his pie and lose out to a thrice reheated Poole burger!!
  16. I think 4 of the 8 named are 'assets'. Leigh always has been - he was always loaned out. Morten was purchased when we went PL. Cam and Rohan have only ever turned out for us and there has never been anything to suggest they signed anywhere else first. Indeed much had been made of them as new assests to rebuild for the future.
  17. Witches fans would all welcome Scotty back anytime. As a No 1 some would have reservations although gor me that would depend on the set up of the league. If it was like for like as now then I see him as a 2nd or 3rd heat leader but with an expanded 12+ team league and the inevitable lower limit that would come with that then he could still be a No1. Interesting times ahead over these next few weeks.Lots of detail still to be thrashed out before we know the answers.
  18. 2 leagues seems certain - just a matter of whether the Elite has 1 or 2 or more additional teams. That balance will determine any shift in points limit/team make up.
  19. Still feeling gutted that my Witches team didnt get to this one - I was hoping to make one last contribution to Statmans excellently produced programme! I feel the Rebels have too much strength in depth. Davies is like a 4th heat leader at home. The only way the Monarchs can win is for it not to take place IMO.As a neutral I think I can get away with saying that where a Rebels fan would be accused of smugness or arrogance. Good luck luck for Monday ...or Tuesday....or Wednesday... or whenever!!!
  20. Firstly all the best wishes to Tabaka - whatever the rights and wrongs of the Morris move the most important point is his well being. In truth his withdrawal had little impact on last nights score - perhaps 1 point. However r/r at Somerset will make the Monarchs weaker - they may now lose by 24 rather than 20. wink!
