  1. In the past even where it has been stated a voucher is needed I have never been asked to provide one.
  2. Doolan Risager Tungate Heeps and Manzares added since going PL. Blackbird I think has also switched to being a Witches asset. Few teams have added as many in that time. It would be great to have Worrall and Ellis as assets but there are 22 others clubs that would think the same so to have the chance to have 2 of the best young Brits in our side despite not being assests is a close second. The fact that they will miss a few meetings is a price worth paying IMO.
  3. IMO the form of Bach will decide both meetings. An impressive Bach - say 12 points and the home team will definately win. A poor return - say 4 points and the away team will be right in with a shout.
  4. Dont see that ever happening whilst a Good Friday crowd is likely to be 3to4 times the norm regardless of the line ups.Why would any PL club agree to giving that up? IMO thay would still run even if EL had priority in all cases.
  5. Hard one to call due to the Witches guests and the Boro inconsistency. Bach is capable of going through the card and Mills should mix it with the Boro bottom 3 at least. The Boro top 4 on their day could win a meeting anywhere but equally go missing too often. So all in all looking forward to a tense topsy turvy affair with hopefully the Witches edging it.
  6. and I for one am very pleased he was! Schrammy was superb by all accounts as well.
  7. Walk in the park for Poole this one. Expect them to win by 14 or more.
  8. Ginos sensational start has made the difference. Had he scored at the level seen from fellow newcomer Fox elsewhere we couldve been looking a 4 defeats rather than 4 wins. Personally I wont be too concerned about Cams form unless it runs past the LC group matches. IMO its mostly confidence - could take just 1 win to get him back on track. We dont need to be phoning Somerset to borrow the panic button just yet!
  9. I dont think anyine has disputed that a redeclaration under 32 points is perfectly legit. The question has been whether Ward can simply come back in regardless of that limit.
  10. Seems commonsense to me too but is that actually the rule? If it is then there is no dispensation required anyway. If it isnt then as I said I believe this is a valid case. I accept the arguement that there should be no dispensation for any situation and agree that ideally that would be the case - but that is just not feasible with the current set up. Given that the merits of each case need to be considered without bias. It doesnt matter that it is Poole and some may feel they 'have gotten away with it in the past' all that matters is would this be right. IMO this would regardless.
  11. So technically if Holder comes in it should be as a formal redeclaration with the risk that revised averages make Darcys return impossible. Personally I would say that this is a genuine 'special dispensation' case and the temp switch should be allowed regardless of average changes.
  12. After Benkos effort tonight I think we may be due another air fence challenge as it is now looking a bit short and may well be few replacements left.
  13. Can a temporary injury replacement have a higher average though? Genuine question as I dont know. Can a temporary injury replacement have a higher average though? Genuine question as I dont know.
  14. That was what I call a proper speedway meeting! Devils were very competitive and but for strange manager decisions on the TR and Res switch may well have snuck a point. Good all round contributions from the Witches. Top notch commitment fron Wells beyond that you can expected from a guest - refused to be bullied by Barker and gave it back double to repass. Very impressed with the other KK and Jensen. Benko did poorly as expected and thankfully Ritchie wasnt wiped out by his kamikazi move in heat 8. Both Cam and Rohan did their partner no favours in their pursuit to beat good friend Jensen which cost points and perhaps evened up the tactical loses from the Devils. If every week was like that then Id be happy.
  15. A good replacement IMO. Wells has been consistently competitive on his Foxhall visits. Would expect Plymouth to struggle but then look at their performance last week and you never know. Id be very happy with a 12 point win.
  16. Very ordinary IMO. Far too much detail from 2013. There should at least have been full 1-7 line up graphics etc and an expert prediction type preview.
  17. Is this meant to be a 2014 preview or a 2013 review??
  18. Rene Bach I believe and Chris Mills for Good Friday. Not sure about next week though.
  19. I cant see how any blame can lay with the Speedway Star. Often the critisism is that it simply reworks press releases rather than offer real journalistic stories. Well here is a real story and one that could have bearing on future GB success. Dont shoot the messenger as they say.
  20. What is the specified number this year for the PL? It was reduced to 24 gradually last season has it changed again or not?
