I originally thought the same but asked the question and Neil kindly posted up the reg which mentioned going to the third or more decimal places.Even then you dont choose when identical where the riders have established averages (in this case Sneddon would stay in place as the previously highest ranked of the two) So it seems there is a definitive position but until someone releases the figures used for the calculations ( total points and rides for each) we dont know what it really is.

agree re stopping the fiddles. In the PL this year though depending on fixture timing 6 of the 24 fixtures included could be against just 1 club out of the 13. -

so unless both records are identical there is a definitive order and no choice. Thanks. Edit - Anyone have the 2 sets of figures to be able to post? -

Edinburghs June set show both Worrall and Sneddon on 5.35. It would good if someone was able to post the totals used for the calculation so it is in the open as to which has the higher average when taken to further decimal places. -
I enjoy a single malt but not as many as you evidently. You say it yourself 'Sam was ridden out' not knocked off or even blocked off. Re Gino bailing out its not surprising when clouted by someone attempting a far too narrow entry divebomb move. As for the result Id say its one where both sides will think they shouldve won so the draw probably the fairest .

There should be a separate flashing light similar to the 2 minute warning for any heat involving Garrity. 'WARNING WARNING - Garrity incoming off gateX' Think it will be a tight one with the team that runs the least last places coming out on top. Head - Rye 48 Witches 42 Heart - Rye 42 Witches 48. -
When each of your top 4 get paid 10 or better you expect to win especially at home so a draw is very disappointing. There wont be many meetings when Cook.is beaten in 3 of his 5 heats Sneddon was a rolling roadblock at times but credit to him he did that job and pick up the vital points Cam and the reserves didnt for the Witches. Steve Worrall was the real hero for the Monarchs - looked super quick and super smooth. Richie came good at the end. I hope it gives him the confidence to kick on and be that No1 that we need and he wants to be.

A little misleading if you go by the latest rolling averages. For example Cam about 6.4 when this years real figure is under 5 whilst Steve Worrall 4.2 when this year actually above 8. Im sure we will see every Monarchs fan on this thread make a similar doom and gloom prediction whilst privately expecting another straightforward victory.

Malcolm Simmons Rip

Having been born in 1971 I was probably too young to realise how good he really was as I grew up. It was only as I got older and learned more about the sports history that I was able to appreciate his true position in British speedway folklore. RIP Simmo. -

6th place and a 4 week purple patch is all it takes. Not as easy as it is to just say it but perfectly possible
