  1. surely given the first quote changes are required before next season!
  2. agree with that. The Rebels pulled off that best away performance that was highlighted by most as what would decide matters. All 3 teams can take credit for what was a hard fought group not least Scunny for the integrity they showed in their effort to beat the Witches when it meant next to nothing to them.
  3. not sure if its by choice. It could be that the thought is to build a lead to defend and put pressure on the opposition. Could just be logistics of dates and race nights. Newcastle are gonna struggle to promote the 2nd leg of the semi - imagine that from the angle of the final on a cold wet end of October night and being 20+ points down from a first leg away.
  4. Shame for us Witches fans that were hoping to see Danny at Foxhall in the final albeit against us. Well done to the Monarchs - see you on Thursday!
  5. Well done to the Rebels - good luck in the final. So near and yet so far for the Witches. Probably a much better effort than many expected tonight. Best wishes to Gino and Pontus.
  6. doing something different if plan A isnt working /thinking about the best way to attack things rather than reverting to type. Best of luck boys. Just have no regrets.
  7. expect them all to be there and scrapping for every point then!It will be a major achievement to get the result needed but so long as the boys give it their all I ask no more. Up the Witches!
  8. that would have to be some session - a whole pool of water and still unable to re-hydrate!
  9. good to see although at first glance I thought it mustve been a picture from Wimbourne Road! wink
  10. Just as well the air fence was as pumped as the multi aliased ones girlfriend there!
  11. Swindon digging themselves a hole here (or is is that they wish they actually had lije Poole!)
  12. Digging into the base when blading off the top is pure incompetence IMO.
  13. Or rain and no dates before a realistic cut off - its happened before!
  14. I think that would be potential suicide if anything remotely like the current EL set up remains.
  15. I agree it was certainly an error of judgement for Rohan to have made those comments early in the season. I think he was probably feeling a bit down at having missed out on an Elite place and perhaps doubting himself because of it. The saying is that honesty is the best policy. Well that doesn't seem to be the case here!! Had he have said he was having some struggles and was confident he would get it right soon and then gone on to have the season he has it is likely all would be a lot rosier with peoples opinions of him. The point that he has achieved it not at number 1 could be valid but then look at his scores in his meetings since and he has done just as well.Perhaps being a number one is the 'motivation' he needs to kick on. The quirk of Speedway is that any rider that improves is automatically at risk for the next year due to the points limit and questions over further improvement. Conversely have a poor year and you can become a 'hot property' and be in demand as many will know you can do better.
  16. I will reserve comment until afer Sonerset and the KOCup final.
