If Edinburgh start like they did at Worky they could be in trouble. Certainly need to hit the ground running or they coukd be under serious pressure in the return. Will go for Somerset by 12 at home but the Monarchs to pick up the title after winning their home leg by 16. Would be a travesty if Edinburgh dont win overall.

Better see how Arthur goes back in Oz first but I understand he intends to have a serious go at Speedway again. Whether he does and whether he would be at a level to risk at PL level on a 5 is another matter. His reputation as a schoolboy was excellent but lets not forget he wouldnt have even ridden 500s then so his experience is mininal in reality. No doubt his natural bike skills give him an advantage but its not a given he will be a sensation IMO. An interesting one to keep our eyes on over the winter though! -

Worrall 3 and Sedgman 5 both to about 7.5. Most wouldve expected improvement from both but not to the extent that happened. Fricke and Masters also up by about a point each. Cook Sneddon and Fox all dropped! -

first one is 44.8 so would need a 3 pointer instead of Cam to fit!! Second one 45.55 so drop King for Boxall or equivalent to fit!! -

So whomever anyone wants the details that most agree on is that changes will be minimal, that Morten is possibly guaranteed a place and we will use our assets wherever possible. With that in mind you could see Worrall replaced with Leigh at around 42 points. -

It seems most are agreed on a core of King 8.84 Worrall 7.32 Gino 6.02 Cam 5.38 Adam 4.67 Total 32.23 leaving 10.27 under current limit Options for the final 2 If we go with what we know then Leigh and Hawkins would fit. Wells on 6.46 has been mentioned. With him in you have the likes of Fox Bates Nielsen and Greenwood who fit. Go with a 3 pointer or if a fast track type system is introduced then Sedgman Lindgren and Aspegren fit but of course therre is a problem with Swedes and Thursdays. A new 7 pointer from elsewhere perhaps? Poole or Bellego would fit with Covatti. Tressarieu would fit with Sneddon Lykke Rose Roynon Bunyan Starke Campton October averages used so there could be a few minor tweaks for a number of those quoted that make a difference. -

Yes he was.. Had a few spins in the UK towards the end of the year and I understand was expressing his intent to pick it up when back home. -

pretty much in line with my assessment. Whilst it would be harsh in Ritchie H it may be his average forces him out if to accomodate the top end. -

I believe Arthur Sissis may be planning to give speedway a serious go this year. -

Having 'the right average' is the name of the game for a speedway rider so Rohan and Morten must be under pressure for their place even without the doubts of many as to their racing abilities. Rohan you could argue can have done little more improving by a point each year and earning the No 1 slot but has failed to convince at crucial times and of course their was 'motivationgate' this year.Any room for improvement 50/50 Morten also has had his best year and at times looked set to produce a purple season rather than just a purple patch within it. Unfotunately the memory will be the reversion to the 'old Morten' in the last few weeks just when wedodnt need it. A big shame as overall he has been great value. Any room for improvement - 50/50 Looking at the rest. Richie W - will been classed as a disappointment but has shown enough for me to justify why he is touted for a good future. A tough year but one that if he learns and moves on from will have been a worthwhile experience in the long run. Any room for improvement 100% yes. Cam - the biggest down side of 2014. Suffered much more with his wrist injury early on than was ever really disclosed but still far below where he shouldve been even given that. Showed in the 2nd half of the season just why he is popular with the fans with some breathtaking passes and scores much in line with expectations. Any room for improvement 100% yes. Gino - the star of 2014. Excellent at home and competitive away for a debut season. Such a shame that the season ended with man and machine in far from tip top shape. A vibrant character that can help a promotion attract and keep new fans IMO. Any room for improvement 100% yes Ritchie H - a solid season on and off track. Proved to be good captain material which also semed to have a positive effect on him. Hard charger who always gives it everthing. The type of rider that is the backbone of the PL. Any room for improvement 50/50 Adam - didnt make the progress that was hoped for but certainly did make progress. Came through a real tough patch in the middle of the season to show the talent is definitely there. Capable of being next years Stevie Worrall. Any room for improvement 100% Im as disappointed as anyone with just missing out again but this team was a bloody good team. Comfotably the 3rd best in the league which is better than 10 others! As for 2015 I think we will see the core of the side retained and depends on the averages as to who will fit. -

I think the gloves wiil off! -
Only some small scrap of pride to play for as far as the Witches are concerned. No chance of a win on the night let alone lifting the cup. Losing by less than the home leg may be seen as some kind of triumph!! Most likely that the Monarchs will run up around 60. The ref obviously felt it was a new injury. Probably the same accuracy of judgement used for letting the starts go and deciding on exclusions.

Straight after tonight is possibly not the best time to make any judgement about 2015. -
There may have been a few 'lively' starts that were let go and a harsh exclusion for Worrall but lets face it the Monarchs didnt need the refs help. Top performance from a top team and well deserved winners. I think Im probably known for finding the positive in even the most adverse of situations but you can only describe that performance from the top end as shambolic. Top 4 scored 13 from 14 and simply not good enough. Just as well the bottom 3 showed some spirit or it couldve been an humiliation rather than a hammering.
