Only the return of Mike Smillie can ignite the spirit needed for a championship fight. -

Its just another example of the inconsistency in the regs. Jensen could use an average thats 8 years old. Sundstrom cant use one from 4 years ago. because he had 2 years in the EL in between. Palm Toft can use one thats 2 years old because he only had 1 year in the EL before returning. Palm Tofts 4.92 is valid under the regs but that doesnt mean it is a fair assessment. -

but its not his last average - which should override it.If he had not ridden in Britain at all fair enough but he did. Therefore he has a established British average for 2014 which should be used with the relevant conversion rate. -

We will all be able to make our minds up as to whether we agree with him within a few days. -

Possibly the most important part of the Witches line up is yet to be announced so no comment! From the top 5 Id say it would quite similar Cook/King Masters/Tungate Sedgman/Manzares Tabaka/Heeps Plus1/Hawkins The 3 point No7s could cancel each other out so its down to whether our new guy would be beeter than Fox. Worth watching Id say. Could go either way. -

or you keep Fox and a really strong top end.Cook Masters Sedgman Tabaka plus1 Fox Clegg What does that leave for the plus1? -

Wasnt Ludvig a Birmingham asset so now unattached BSPA asset. -
Exactly you didnt - that was my point!! You really are a unique indivudual ( and that isnt a compliment in this case!) Take your own advice and read the post I quoted to reply to.

wonder if Edinburgh can now sign sign Steve Worrall on 6.39 instead of his 7.49.Just convert his PL average into an EL one now he has signed to the draft and reconvert it when announcing his PL deal.
-
but Starmans reasoning was Kurtz being an asset made it possible not that he would use a British passport! Very different angles so no apologies needed.Where was this British passport last year??
-
no that isnt right - apparently the change in conversion rate is one way only. When moving from the PL it is still the old 0.6. Therefore Brady will be on the lower figure!! Of course these new regs are not important enough to be announced.

Good to see the Panthers back in thegame. Now us Ipswich fans can stop being nice to you all again! wink Will soon see if they have to cut their cloth to build the team or if the £40k will mean riders are made 'Saville Row' offers to tempt them away from other teams. (shocked face smiley!) -

dont worry Morten favourited the signing of Danny which meant he didnt have a place!I get the feeling he likes a bit of a joke. Come on Morten follow the Monarchs next! -

perhaps that's why raising the full £40k was so important! -

A few are predicting Danny to be at Coventry. -
So the average speedway fan will just have finished their crispy chilli beef bought from Asda whilst watching Pointless on their TV obtained from Argos and will be preparing to feed the fish. After that they can log in to the forum and put forward a stubborn but polite opinion about Speedway other motorsport and general international affairs. Not sure if I think its a load of old guff or scarily accurate!!

Who the 3 pointer would be if it is a new 5 pointer is just as important. Very difficult to carry a very low scoring No7. When you look at an option of say Ellis/Jacobs you would expect a solid contribution from both. With a makeweight No 7 the other newcomer has to be capable of getting all those on his own. -

I dont thunk he is the only draft rider in that position. -
Would Brady have to quit Somerset? In the Ipswich paper article announcing the signing of Tungate it states this years rules dont allow him to doubke up. Wouldnt Brady be in the same position?
