  1. I hope you are right with 2 of those - always want to see young Brits and Witches do well.Would like to see Cam Heeps join the list - just getting back to 2013 form would add 1.5. The talent is there if the application follows then.....
  2. My previous comments have been that he has undoubted natural talent but needs the right support and back up to have a chance. IMO that still stands. Whilst I felt some were over hyping I must admit even with makeshift kit his recent showing have been underwhelming to say the least. But as has been said above though there are still 2 months to go and no one (on here) really knows what arrangements are planned for the UK. Gives plenty of scope to fuel the fires of this thread though so cant be all bad!!
  3. come on what do you think - you're Newcastle not Somerset! wink
  4. This may be a silly question but I havent researched at all. With the prospect of fracking for shale gas will this open up any new shale supplies??
  5. but wasnt that his 2nd season with an established average from his first. Edit Just checked the archives on BSPA site Steve Worrall 36 matches for Scunny 158 rides 140 points 3.54 average. So reduction in 12 13 and 14.
  6. didnt Steve have a 3+ average before his leg break and only dropping back to a 3 following his original comeback?
  7. Could only be achieved by a reserve to enable the 7 rides to be taken.
  8. At least this year you will get a facility without a ban being imposed where a rider is missing due to riding abroad rather than having to use a NL rider.
  9. and hopefully ends with a final or two in October.
  10. Good positive piece from Rohan. If he does push Danny for the No1 spot will will take some stopping. The more teams that are near/completed the more I like the look of our side for 2015.
  11. cheers for that. Always intriguing to hear snippets of maybes and couldve beens. The numbers would certainly fit with potential different permutations for the Witches that reached me via the normal chinese whispers!
  12. would be interesting to know who turned down Ipswich.
  13. I can see a few instances of sharp practices on the horizon with certain posirions getting attention from track staff depending on where the home team are due to start the next heat .
  14. Could the quirky worky magic converter need to be dusted off for more use?????
  15. this poll can be dismissed due to technicalities. 1)the group was set up by someone whom allegedly had an"off duty" brain. 2)doubts have apparently emerged about the calibration of the like counter.
  16. Sorry I dont know then. Sometime in the next two weeks is my best guess!!
  17. can understand and accept most of that. However I cant see the logic of supressing old coverage that they never show again. If for example all 2014 meetings were now on Youtube there is a chance that new viewers might think I like this and choose to subscribe whereas I cant imagine 1 person who has previously subscribed cancelling for 2015 because they know it will be be on Youtube next year.
  18. As a Witches fan wouldnt want a challenge against Boro to start the season. Already due to race early season in LC so go straight into that comp IMO.
  19. if thats the case it is very much welcome.Even more reason Sky would want to benefit from exposure via multi sources though surely. The resrictions have no benefit to any party as far as I can see including GoSpeed who again would find it easier to attract sponsors with the profile on various platforms.
  20. I would say ask Skidder1 - hes bound to know but.... Or are you going by the old saying "never ask a question you dont know the answer to" to get the ball rolling? wink
  21. which is why IMO the PL should be looking at a fastrack type set up for the No7 position in 2016
  22. surely Ruml would be in need of a visa and therefore be a 7 as well??
  23. no I dont think speedway would be better off without a tv deal but dont see any gain of the restrictions. The 7 figure sum??? Didnt think there was any cash in this latest deal. Costs of production covered yes but no cash. Football for sure has more power but surely Sky would be far more concerned with protecting its rights when paying out hundreds of millions as opposed to the relative peanuts it lays out on Speedway. Infact you could easily argue the restrictions are not good for Sky. Surely with the proliferation of Sky logos etc around in Speedway lots of videos/pictures on various sources is better for them??
  24. IF that did happen (unlikely IMO) then I wouldnt be surprised to see him reinstated in the Somerset line up.
