  1. Indeed - the cheating for 2023 started in 2022 with the decision not to include the final meetings in the rolling averages They were full league meetings which fed into the final league table (albeit pointless given they were after the play offs!) ans should've been included
  2. Looks like you answered your own question perfectly Arch
  3. So basically you're saying Brennan didn't try in the Championship or is a bit of a one track pony with Belle Vue performances inflating his Premiership average ......
  4. Be interesting to see what the criteria is this season and who is on the list Flints Championship average would've ruled him out previously so something has changed...
  5. In some way that could assist the return of speedway Much would need to be demolished and cleared anyway which would be quite an expense in itself
  6. Polish league app already has Doyle as a Witch in 2023
  7. Witches fans that saw him classically shepherd Toni Svab around ahead of Jason Crump at Peterboro would disagree
  8. Given the state retirement age is 66 and rising to 68 this is a bizarre age to set it at as it is not a pensioner discount
  9. No Danny King unless Poole are forced into an unexpected late switch
  10. I think it's fair to say that the OP has achieved its intentions.......
  11. Any pensioner receiving JUST the state pension isn't going to be attending speedway even it was £5 let alone £16 instead of £20
  12. Cheers The summary I read didnt make either of those points
  13. Super heat for draw Super heat for aggregate tie Here goes - both legs end 45-45 Super heat required - one team could then get 2 "match wins" and gain 4 points to opposition 0 Aggregate tie Super heat - the other side win it and get a point Si we have the situation where 1 side "wins" both legas but doesn't get the aggregate bonus point......
  14. You're rapidly turning into the new Shovlar Phil.....
  15. Sensible from a sporting point of view but not from a business point of view which is what the play offs are really about Better to finish 2/3 than top as a 50-50 chance of getting an extra 2 bumper crowd meetings No loss at all if knocked out as still get the 1 extra same as the table toppers
  16. Congratulations on getting this decision - I must admit to being a little surprised (pleasantly) that it was a unanimous decision I dipped into the stream for a few minutes to find it seemed that 3 trees were given greater regard than the stadium in the mitigation report! Let's hope it can be seen through to getting the Bees back and also that by the time it happens there is a sport worthy of the effort to revive a great club
  17. Any obsession I have is is with the woes that befall the sport - failure to run fixtures to the end , failure to complete meetings within deadlines , inability to prepare and repair, team changes and manipulation , self interest and incompetence It's not my fault that it happens to be Sheffield that are the ones ticking most of the boxes along with at the end in the Championship Leicester - oh hang on we have a common denominator
  18. A shame they didn't make this sort of effort to get meetings on within the season......
