  1. The rising star scheme hasn't really been a success and hasn't really been fit for purpose at all for a couple of seasons Only Brennan has progressed out of the scheme and is still in a side Others moving out have already been jettisoned The fact that the Championship dropped it even though that's the natural start point is more pertinent
  2. I commented as such when heat 13 was posted on BSN Facebook I got the reply "but riders dont really celebrate until the team passes 91 points" I resisted replying again about how stupid this was.....
  3. Congrats to Sheffield - wrapped up with 3 to spare. Comfortable as expected
  4. Surely it only takes all parties to agree 'for commercial reasons'......
  5. Hmmmm Unwritten rule / gentleman's agreement We've seen how well they work already....
  6. They are only a rough guide and subject to change (as required/desired) anyway....
  7. Season tickets not valid so even those will have to make the choice to part with more cash......
  8. I thought it was a brave effort overall but it was never gonna be enough There is one teeny weeny chance - make Foxhall deep wet and rough and roll the dice. It won't be pretty but then again it won't be a classic whatever!
  9. For commercial reasons the Witches are to be allowed to sign Bartosz and Dudek - would double the crowd
  10. SAY YOU'RE NOT TOP OF THE LEAGUE SAY YOU'RE NOT TOP OF THE LEAGUE...
  11. So all we need now is for all 4 to agree and the regulations mean nothing...... Farcical, corrupt shambles
  12. Now - for those wanting a conspiracy theory pin back your lugs and strap into your set Here we go Knowing the above is true and wanting to upset the Witches plans Sheffield have intially booked Harris so that Ipswich couldn't They knew it would be overturned but hoped that with it being late in the day that Ipswich would simply stick with their choices anyway If that looked like failing they will resist a change in the Ipswich line up so close to raceday siting a long forgotten regulation that has been mistakenly left in place since 1965 as an amendment to 1:12:32 sub section 4 paragraph 6
  13. Only in the one eyed world of Sheffield could applying the regulations correctly be regarded as a conspiracy theory
  14. Because the other 3 wouldn't agree - which is more important than the regulations in some fans eyes it seems...
  15. Because its not down to the 4 teams agreeing (or shouldn't be) it is what is set in the regulations that counts
  16. I had some hope that this appointment would provide some semblance of independence and impartiality Unfortunately it seems that hope was misplaced Perhaps if this situation isn't what Phil Morris expected the question should be will he resign rather than he be sacked - why would they sack him if he is playing the puppet they want?
  17. So they are basically not following the regulations which clearly state 1v4 and 2v3 Together with Harris guesting for Sheffield in the Cup Final (currently listed anyway) which also explicitly goes against the regulations A shambolic corrupt mockery. No sporting integrity, no professional ethic
  18. Not possible to do that as would've been the case in the old days Any protest has to be ahead of the meeting now
  19. Surely with the Polish 2nd tier switching to Thursday there has to be a drastic change in British League structure as there will be a very significant chunk of riders unavailable on Thursdays....
  20. BSN were going to show the first leg of the final on Monday but are now not allowed as no streaming can be undertaken against Eurosport coverage
  21. So due to Kings Lynn's ongoing ineptitude this rearrangement now also denies the British Speedway public the chance to see this year's Cup Final Buster the gift that just keep taking......
  22. Because his absence on Monday was illness and not a speedway injury it is an automatic 7 day period he has to sit out. That only applies to UK so no issue in riding elsewhere. Even if he is now feeling well he is not allowed to compete in thd UK on Thursday
