  1. seems most likely if true. An adjustment away from the currently stated previous season would also draw in Smith and Davies for acceptance.
  2. we dont even know whether the club actually has a sponsor certificate yet.If not then applications cant even be considered evrn if the criteria are met.
  3. I dont think you are right there - again unless the regs have been revised.
  4. does the rule state who has the say in the arrangement? Is it the EL club? Is that specifically in the reg? The 'arrangement' could be rider choice if not.
  5. I think they call that sods law! Do make sure to let us all know when you cant make it this year - then we can be sure when its one not to miss!!
  6. or that PBoro have made the 'arrangement' in their favour.
  7. Whats the amount of points available? (assuming a like for like)
  8. Tiger Louis Roary Schlein Ali (cat)Stevens - bonus singer there!
  9. Exactly - so if Davies is approved it will be the first indication that the criteria have also be adjusted.Until now it has been speculated but unconfirmed.
  10. Scunny due to announce an update on their visa situation tomorrow morning so matters are moving forward it seems.
  11. He was 4th highest scorer in the 20 heats - perhaps thats enough???
  12. But at least they were applying a genuine old rule rather than making up their own.
  13. so a closed practice is possible - just not whilst spectators are still present. BTW I wouldnt want to see the crash that meant the bike ended up in the crowd at Foxhall - that would be some 'off'!
  14. so you are saying the limitations would stop even a private practice /leisure ride.Seems rather draconian.
  15. At Foxhall there is invariably a statement made that " the meeting is now officially closed" Presumably any practice after that isnt affected as it would not be classed as part of the meeting.
  16. Id expect the Aussies to plan their state finals a bit differently in future - no more foreigners , potentially limit out of state riders even. They will ensure every one that needs to gets the right position.
  17. The quirky worky magic converter - RIP.Gone but not forgotten.
  18. I knew this was a wind up as soon as you suggested cash being declared!
  19. I think Tay tried a 'properjob' and didnt much like it! Every incentive for him to do whats needed to get accepted. Hope to see him back next year. Fully fit IMO he is well worth a place.
  20. Perhaps Chris has arranged for Sky to produce an "Inside Track" dvd just for UKVI. It will show a shaded box labelled "corrider of special relationship" at the border control point as Gino enters the UK. Who could turn that down? wink
  21. he was until a fractured arm followed by a broken femur followed by breaking the other femur in consecutive years.
