  1. The Town have done their bit now we need the Witches to make it an Ipswich away day double in Herts today.
  2. on the list along with 'my dog ate my kevlars! lol PS im still cold - was getting there but had a relapse after the solar eclipse!
  3. Not mechanical issues to blame for Ritchies crash apparently. Just a freakisk bit of bad luck. Was lifting when the red light came on - perhaps split second distraction - and didnt land the front wheel as needed to keep it upright!
  4. bruv went off early so didnt get to speak with him after. He has a busy day planned today but if I hear anything will let you know if I can.
  5. First time tonight that I have seen Lambert 'in the flesh' and I must say I was impressed. Looked very quick and certainly knows how to race. A little slow out of the gate apart from one blinder but if he can get some consistency in the that area he appears to have all the right ingredients to really push on.
  6. Ritchie has indeed broken a rib or two. Likely to be out for a couple of weeks - but you never know with these speedway boys!!
  7. if thats how it works here goes - 1 WORKY 2-12 the rest in any order 13 Ipswich
  8. its not certain that Gino even has a NEW visa. The press release from Ipswich simply stated that UKVI had confirmed he was OK to start the season. This was just 6 days after the return of the clubs sponsor licence so insufficient time for a new visa IMO from my understanding of the process.
  9. it is written in to the terms of use of the stadium - a local authority requirement. On a previous thread Im sure someone posted a link to the document.
  10. if you are going to use the 'watered down" arguement to try to back up your Risager case then you really have shot yourself in the foot for your Lambert case!
  11. this doesnt make sense - on the one hand you say we should go for an ex rider/club legend type but initially you are moaning Phil may be a 'Louis puppet'.Surely you should be happy if Chris is pulling the strings. Personally I think Phil is a strong enough character to put his own stamp on the job.
  12. havent things moved on to golf carts now? wink
  13. Thanks SCB. So just shows most of those around the same or better than Lambert average wise at that early age and the whole range from fade into obscurity to world champion within them.
  14. perhaps for Sidney you could dig out some Brit examples in their teenage debut/early years. eg Howe(David and Ben) Clouting Nicholls Screen Loram Louis Havelock etc
  15. I can add my vote to the 'Risager was highly rated/touted as a future world champ' side. The sport has had many like this and will always have them - only a very small minority will actually fulfil the prophecy. I remember Savalas Clouting beating Leigh Adams in the U21 qualifiers. Rather different careers thereafter!!
  16. not directly - Adam swapped for Stefan would put us over the limit.
  17. Jenga as usual being a Comets suppOrter who is Clearly mistaKen.
  18. I tend to agree with you. Johnson would maybe be manys selection due to his flambouyance being memorable but I say the mark of the best officials is they do an excellent job without neccessarily being noticed hence my vote with Chinnery
  19. Basically a plug in box that's works via the net but connects to the TV and usually comes preloaded with add on links for various streams. If you know whats on where pretty much anywhere in the world you will probably find it. Sports, TV, movies the lot all there. Note to Arson - I have taken the day off especially to check out the Usbekistan news but cant find a link - please PM me!! I have had to make do with the Armenian equivalent of Loose Women (not recommended)
  20. My first opportunity for a 'Witches by 20' for Rocketben. Actually expect it to be much closer. 6 points either way.
  21. Just how lucky have we been at Ipswich over the years. Could easily argue that we have had the best ever in all areas - promoter, presenter, rider, trackman, start marshall and of course fans!!
