and there you go its all about who you know!Matters like this should be transparent and accessible to all. This seemed to have been resolved but the figures on the BSPA site last about a fortnight!! I hope they will return and it is just a temporary ommission. -

If my maths is right a 15+ point win for the Witches would mean a draw at Plymouth would be enough to top the group. Between 7 and 14 and a 3 point win needed at Plymouth If Rye get a point then we would needto win big at Plymouth to get 4 points AND overturn race points difference. Im confident of a win but only by 8-12. Its gonna be nailbiting stuff IMO. -

perhaps if more in and around speedway did the same and spoke out for what is right rather than sweeping things under the carpet then the sport might be in a better place rigjt now. -

this is still not ckear to me.The wording states the previous season when applying to renew. However the visa can be multi year so long as matched by the contract. So potentially that seems to say if he has a 3 year visa and contract he wouldnt have to meet the criteria until the year renewal is required. -
but thats exactly how averages and having a points limit works. The reason you have a 3 point reserve is because the top 3 are all 7.5 or above and Wright above 6.5. The Witches 3rd heat leader is at 6 so can have 2 stronger reserves. So naturally the top5 of Somerset should out score the Witches top 5 and the reserves the opposite.

Doolan may be a Witches asset but hardly relevant to 2015! -

I think last night was our last before revised averages applicable from May 1st. Now last 20 matches from 2015 and 2014 only. So Stefan for example has no 2014 matches so will get a new average after 4 home 4 away although the regs allow the MC to apply his average from his 6 meetings so far from May 1st if they wish. Nico has averaged 6.18 this year but does have 2014 meetings to include so not sure how his rolling 20 match figure is affected. All the stats have unfortunately disappeared from the BSPA site!! Edit Ritchie ended 2014 well and Gino tailed off. It could be Gino that drops - he will lose 8 possibly higher early season scores. -

the regulation is not written differently because of a riders age or nationality. Its about riders without an established match average by the time of May 1st or at the time of a team redeclaring. -

unless the MC choose to do the right thing and give MPT and Lambert new averages in line with their performances to date as part of any redeclaration in line with the regulations. The rule is there is just needs to be applied. -

Rolling Averages
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv replied to Gambo's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Although these is provision for a new average to be applied even if the 4 home 4 away is not reached. Perhaps needs to be applied where there may be a re-declaration. The new calculations have disappeared from the BSPA site - hope they come back soon. Wouldn't want it to seem like anything is being hidden to slide through any dodgy changes!! -

yeah - about 2 panels after it ends. It may just be my imagination but I think thats just about where it ended when it was first installed. Certainly seems to have shrunk over the years.
