the new 20 match rolling average will only include 2014 and 2015 meetings. As his initial average was 2013 he will get a new one after 4 home 4 away (or before if his 4.17 is correct)

Gonna be a tough one for the Witches. Some will say it could be the best time to go to Sheffield whilst they may be on the back foot but I think their blip was just last week and it will be business as usual from now on. Tigers by 10-12 for me - anything better will be a real good performance by the Witches.

it shouldnt be 4.17 now if the rules are being applied consistently. No other rider in the same position of waiting to ride 4 home 4 away has had a new average applied early. All should be changed or none IMO. Although if it is purely a result of a proposed redeclaration it does set a precedent to be followed if others teams do the same.

The team for Fridays match at Plymouth wouldve been declared today at the latest so doesnt seem that any change will be before then???

but that is not 2 like for like changes and needs a reclaration inside the points limit which might not be possible if certain riders have their averages updated to the correct figures.

there are some that even that is too difficult to manage for!!I could manage to cheer for Cook though and Masters has been a welcome guest in the past.

I would actually welcome a rider like Rory into the PL - any issue I may have wouldn't be about him. The issue would be (as I have stated before) about application of the rules and their consistency and transparency (or lack of)

can fully echo that - Leighs injuries last year were far more restricting than most realise. Also agree that his professionalism is second to none in the PL. He deserves a great season - good luck fella

thats whats listed but a redeclaration would mean the MC COULD CHOOSE to issue both Lambert and MPT a new average based on their scores in 2015.

thats because my interest in it is about the figures being right and within the rules and the rules being applied consistently and trasparently.

Is the Davies average right? He hasnt yet ridden 4 home 4 away. No other rider in that position has had a new average enforced - why would Davies be different?

Looking through the May 1st averages it appears to be only Alex Davies that has been awarded a new average of those assessed/converted/out of date despite not riding 4home 4away. Is this correct or just a mistake? Such a shame that the excellent new info on rolling averages has been removed frim the BSPA site.

The changes also mean that Rohan no longer gets to take a ride for Ginos r/r whilst he is still out.

You would expect Plymouth to look at changes once the averages come out May 1 st.

Its the modern way of thibking. 9 times out of 10 it will be the right call and better to take the risk on the one being wrong than the hit on the 9. Lets hope a suitable date is found soon. Is a pet hate of mine that the LC final stages ends up languishing at the tail end of the season.

A good solid win fir the Witches with all bar Ritchie in fine form. By my reckoning that turns around the race points difference meaning a draw or better needed at Plymouth to top the group. A decent effort from the Rockets particularly early on. They certainly didnt just roll over. And just for RocketBen note that if you take out the tac ride it was 'Witches by 20'!!
