  1. so whos fault is it? Or is it just a 50/50 forum debating incident? wink
  2. I have a great deal of sympathy for Boro on this one. Im sure the last thing they wanted was to have to call it off especially as late as it was but what choice was there? To have tried to dig in their heels I doubt wouldve made any difference and wouldve just alienated relations with the landlord. That could easily have put racing on any day at risk let alone that one date.
  3. He could have been in breach of his visa in the 2015 season though if its validity ended with his contract expiry at the end of the 2014 season. If they then recontracted him for the whole of 2015 on a visa that only ran to mid May then that cant be legal. ???
  4. Something I am puzzled about is that I thought any visa was only valid for the length of the riders contract. That being the case why was Proctors visa from May 14 acceptable if he was only contracted to the end of the 2014 season?
  5. Just to rub it in all our faces its a beautiful sunny morning today! Bloody weather.
  6. No problem with Boro at all or MPT individually. It doesnt matter what team or rider it is. If it was Ipswich I wouldnt being saying any different . The right thing isnt decided by whether it suits you or your own team and it is the attitude of "so long as my team can get away with it its fine" is the root of a number of the problems in the sport. Until that changes matters are not likely to improve.
  7. Lambert missing away again seems very convenient to me! MC should issue a new avearge from matches ridden to date at the next cut off regardless of having ridden 4 away or not.
  8. Never trust the BBC!! Persistant for a few hours now in Nacton although not especially heavy. A few small puddles but far from monsoon conditions. If it stops before start time I can see it being on and after a few slimy heats it being fine. Of course theres no guarantee it will stop!!
  9. A couple of spits in last few minutes in Nacton area but nothing as yet that would pose any threat to going ahead
  10. The BBC forecasts have continually revised the edge of the rain band further and further south by the hour until this morning. Will it reach us? Could all depend on a little extra wind- and we all know the problems caused by unwanted extra wind!!
  11. fishing trip my ar$e - you meant every word! lol Now you are backtracking faster than Paddy Ashdown in a hat restaurant!
  12. hopefully will stay that way for the 28th - its been a long time since I witnessed a Witches away win!
  13. SCB - were you also informed of any others in this 60 scenario? If so are you able to list who and how they could be affected?
  14. why would you replace Starke?? He is 2 points higher than Compton although I appreciate that is a situation that rarely concerns Somerset when it comes to naming teams! wink
  15. Perhaps I was being a bit diplomatic and also trying to avoid egg on face when we struggle in one of the supposed 'easy' matches It just goes to show that all generalisafions are wrong! wink
  16. that means 10-2 in favour of my thoughts. Im happy to take that as vindication!
  17. David Blunkett has been asked as he has better eyesight than Mick Bates.
  18. I dont think there is an easy match as such in the PL but if were choosing one to follow a defeat then it woukdnt be this one!! Glasgow look very solid and have riders with a decent Foxhall record so will be tough to beat. With having to use r/r for Cam then we cant afford to risk Gino if there is any doubt as to his fitness. Hopeful of Ritchie banging in a decent home score to cement his turn around seen on the road. Witches to win by 5-8.
  19. Radio Suffolk report this morning stated plan is for Gino to ride against Glasgow on Thursday.
