  1. Couldnt gate yet again. Yards behind in more than the odd heat. As often when behind we looked panicky and unsure of how to execute a pass. In general we looked like the away side so to speak. Looks like we will struggle to even make the play offs IMO.
  2. First of all credit to the Diamonds - sharp out the starts and when needed calm and clever to pick off the odd pass. As for the Witches - Nico super again and head and shoulders our man of the match. Rohan actually fought hard and scored quite well but was beaten by all the visiting top 3 which for a home rider averaging about a point more than any of them isnt what you need. However this only stands out because none of the rest really even deserve to be mentioned. Missed Danny big time - with him we would likely have covered for the general woefulness. Cook one one ride aside didnt really look that interested. That one win was as good as his heat 1 effort was bad. Re Leigh on the t/r. Can see why went with it given at that point it didnt look like we would challenge any of their top 3. Leigh looked like getting there at first but a small slip mid first bend meant he dropped to second. The danger was we got a 4-2 and missed the chance to use it.
  3. then surely he should be in the initial declaration with a change if he fails to make it rather than the other way around.
  4. youve made the mistake of joining a Peterborough thread and expecting rules to have any bearing on opinions! wink
  5. may well be a few less from ippo for various reasons Weather Rider availabilty Not even knowing what the teams will be The 3/4 bend being likely to yield a crop of spuds (wink)
  6. All a bit low key on this thread!! I think this could be a real cracker -despite the patched up teams and general grumbling of fans of both sides so far this year! Witches to win by 12 after a typically hard fought battle with the Diamonds.
  7. ive heard Kesgrave School of Motoring is very good. What do you think bruv?? wink
  8. 3 more weeks or so.Being extra careful after the problems with the other one.
  9. other riders take note of Freddies advice should you ever find him behind/alongside you!!! Edit - or perhaps Nicki P has hacked his account! wink
  10. I hope the race off is on Quest - I can record Quest whilst out at Foxhall but cant do that with the android box!!
  11. As has been mentionedby a few others so long as the number of rides is limited for the reserves so that that cant take more than if named in the team whats the problem? Seems that on Twatter Freddie L is defending the move made by Linus claiming the Russian wasnt entitled to try to make the pass and shouldve backed off. Says the gap wasnt there to go for. And there was me thinking he was at least level down most of the straight and about a wheel ahead at the time of impact.
  12. Would be a shame if Morley is the one to go rather than Konopka. As much as some mock the EL regarding the real reasons for putting in place the draft at least it ensures Brits places and opportunity and is a base to expand on for future development. IMO the PL should adopt a Brit only reserve berth policy.
  13. Have been impressed with Belousov tonight. Congrats to the Swedes. The luck and decisions maybe went their way but its the points on the board that count in the end.
  14. Can see the crigeworthy situation of the Swedes going 6 behind and then drawing level in the next heat with a joker unopposed by the Poles!
  15. Horrible crash - all the best to jarek. Sodding airfence lifting again cant have helped. How Sundstrom wasnt the one excluded is unbelievable!
  16. Well Ritchie certainly showed them! lol Following the chatzone it seemed like we were competitive but not quite good enough and a16 point defeat was possibly a bit harsh as a reflection of the performance. A much better away performance from Rohan - ironically against the strongest top4 in the league. Lets hope we see a few more like it in the rest of the season. Overall we ended up with what we expected -nothing - but with a few positives to hold on to. Well done to the Monarchs. We all know they will be there or thereabouts at the shake up at the end.
