Ipswich could certainly put together a decent side from those mentioned through this thread!! Both Chris and John Louis,Sanders,Sigalos,Hampel and Doncaster....... Can any other team match this??

I know there has been separate threads about him but I still cant see how BWD will be a five. If he qualifies this year for the NL then next year he should be a 3 in the PL. If not then he shouldnt be elligible to be in the NL.

perhaps any rule is irrelevant - I dont think Hong Kong had the PL in mind.....

Current conversion is 1.4 so 5.96 (?) becomes 8.35 Absolute no brainer if Scott wants to do it and we are PL. Or perhaps we will have Scott but on 5.96.....

Anticipating the start is cheating. A rider may just sneak under the tape but has dropped the clutch before the tapes has been released. Ghostwalker mentioned the norm for reaction time being 0.29 miliseconds. Dropping the clutch before that is cheating as it is outside human possibilties to be that quick.

Dont think the Monarchs were lucky myself. They had done enough in the first few heats and then coasted IMO. A fall an EF and only having 1 bike are not bad luck. I think had the lead been less there was enough in hand for the Monarchs to have upped their game to score what was needed. Second best in a 2 horse race - full stop.

unforunately my view is about as significant as my position in the universe. I will say that generally I am more than happy with the entertainment served uo at Foxhall though.

Certainly a sign of intent and cant blame the Devils for making such a move. Its the first time they have been anywhere close to a play off spot. As Lewy said you cant compare this with certain win at all costs signings. After all Wright was significantly underperforming expectations and of course had been plucked from retirement.
