My biggest worry IF this format and set up is true is that it could make the likes of Konopka even more attractive for the No6 position. 2 guaranteed races against NL opposition and signing him instead of say Eliis on 4.5+ gives an extra 1.5 for the top 5. Both could/ should get same points in those reserve heats.....

Absolutely no idea!! For me though it would leave us too exposed at the bottom end going that top heavy. Of course it depends on whats voted as a points limit and for the make up of the reserves - ie will there be a 'draft' at 6 and or 7.

Have to wait and see what if anything has been voted in at the agm but the general impression is it will be no7 only and IMO those others should be no6 or in some cases in the 1-5. If not we will still see Konopka Maassen Dilger etc filling reserve berths which would is what needs to be stopped.

Of course nothing has been confirmed re the #7 and the term 'draft' is being used. The impression I get though is that it wont be an ordered pick situation but just that each team will include a Brit 3 pointer. It may well be a free for all fron a selection list.

I havent seen anything official either way but I think most are assuming he will.I certainly hope he can and also be able to continue his upward progress too - wherever he ends up.

Well done Glasgow for scraping out a decent lead for the circumstances. Mustve felt like a war of attrition at times last night! Think Edinburgh will have enough to pull it back but you never know what might happen if theres a bit of pressure particularly early on.
