  1. Re the clues always being a misdirection surely at some point one has to be true even if only to keep people guessing in the future. If not everyone just ignores it as BS.....
  2. I think the 4 meeting adjustment is only in the EL in order to deal with the draft riders now getting official averages. I think the PL is still 4 home 4 away.
  3. they will count and he should get his nice new lower average at about the end of the league cup group matches.Just in time for the 'real' PL campaign.......
  4. Could Scunny be improved by adding some more CAMBer to the track??
  5. I think thats a tidy side and should be very competitive. Its a shames that Rose didnt still fit (i have long been an advocate of Brit only reserves) I hope he gets a place elsewhere. If Brit riders like Rose Ash Branford etc dont get places then the new No7 rule has failed IMO. Sarjeant is a good signing - certainly further improvement in him.
  6. Due to Swindon choosing Stefan Nielsen in the EL draft the Witches have it seems had to change the plan to use Lewis Rose. Castagna in for us so we can now fit in Sarjeant.
  7. I would never say that JL is anything other than straight as a die. My point was that a press release wasnt going to say anything other than the 'party line' I also agree that the critisism of Phil was harsh. Whether you agreed with his decisions or not at least he was prepared to make them and stand by them which is what you want from a manager.
  8. well perhaps the team announced tomorrow will cheer you up!
  9. Politicians and press releases - i promise to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth! lol
  10. Looking forward is certainly best. Im sure we will see a wide variety of opinion as to how good the side is - as Baldyman says!
  11. youve previously mentioned that its not always a simple as it appears with decisions in the heat of a meeting... the situation you outline may well be just one of those times.....
  12. first average in 2013 so discount in 14,15 and 16....
  13. a bit harsh HKP Ritchie made mistakes last year but as with most situations it wasnt all one way. Easy to forget the previous years and his contribution as captain.
  14. 4.04 i think - certainly not much different to that.
  15. 2 things that could change that 1 - brit reduction 2 - change in number of meetings used in calculation of rolling averages from the year he achieved 4.67. Is the reduction applied now or at first recalculation?
  16. i think he is good friends with Cam but Cam not likely to be at Ipswich....
  17. he doesnt have an EL average.Draft riders not awarded averages hence the EL using PL conversion this year.
  18. I dont disagree that we have struggled in those afternoon meetings when the sun shines but to rule out those two meetings would mean foregoing about a quarter of the whole seasons income. You have mentioned the thinning crowds on the terraces so can we afford to give up meetings that attract 3x the normal turnout?
  19. Too many heatkeaders??? Although as we dont know the list and gow it will be adminstered perhaps not... Hypothetical - say Hans is listed at 24 on the list. Buzz not on original list. Buzz in and rated as heat leader. Does Hans stay a heat leader or drop off he list?? You can of course switch the names for other team scenarios eg King at Cov perhaps
  20. Each club chooses how it wants to announce the team - some 1 by 1 week by week and others all in one go. Chris has been clear he wanted to name all 7 together when finalised.
