  1. I didnt think there was such a situation as double down..... It could of course (if you insist on a distinction) be that you could class those where the EL club has priority as double downers and where the PL has priority as double uppers.
  2. i think you would like it - its Berwickesque!
  3. No I dont think it is.With Cookie gone we have the leagues best rider in Danny at 1 Nico next is one of the leagues most entertaining Kerr is one of GB best prospects given his experience Morten as a second string is as solid as you will find Stefan I think will score the same as he would at reserve Rose is a rider that could really kick on Ritchings is certainly one of the stronger No 7 options At the end of the day every team has the same limit to build to and I dont think any of that 7 could be classed as the 'leftovers' as someone put it.
  4. Barker is a great signing. Great to watch , great team rider and good with the fans. Likely to add at least a point to his average too.
  5. not as shocking as T B trying to use a quote box! wink Kevin Long and Bob Ellis but who is Stuart? wink
  6. you may well be right but at least we can speculate (even if just for a short while) that an in demand rider might actually sign for a team other than Glasgow!
  7. I reckon now that Barker has gone to Glasgow after all theres gonna be a big news Worrall homecoming....
  8. Thats another dream team in the bin then Arson! Time for another snooze....
  9. I did say previously and not currently.See my other post quoting The Scotsman
  10. no because they all have current average above 3.Perry dropped back to a 3 (was over 4 at one point I think) Personally I agree that he should be included - it would be churlish to deny him. I also think they didnt go far enough. There should IMO have been something to ensure all Brit reserves making the 3 you mentio prime No6 options. Hopefully they all find a place anyway.
  11. Well that answers the question about those riders who have previously averaged above 3 being elligible..... Unless the pussycats are trying it on again! wink
  12. I asked him why he chose to name Phil as I didnt think it fair to 'out' Phil in that way even if he wanted to post the team details he had heard. His response was "why not - its true" which is something thats difficult to argue with even if you dont totally agree with it.
  13. "internet opportunist" Makes you sound like a sex pest! lol
  14. Think we need to wait for a couple of things to happen before writing off our chances next season. 1) If the alledged team confirmed as correct 2) How other 1-7 line ups pan out Until then its all a bit irrelevant.
  15. Think I will email Sky to complain - its their fault for not renewing the original deal .
  16. probably the international news actually as Sweden has been mentioned too. wink
  17. perhaps theres still a chance of ex Witches 5&6 from your dream team to make up for it
  18. perfect for almost any section then as 90% of posts are 'pie in the sky' NB of course I forgot that a longer term vision isnt needed in Speedway... Personally I woukd hope that this announcement has seen a big light bulb appear above promoters heads seeing it as an opportunity.
  19. not if it is moved on to be about the future potential coverage of British League racing ...
