  1. you are such a mischevious lttle imp!! Im sure others have come up with different names but those are perhaps not within forum rules
  2. Great stuff fron Danny tonight out in the dirt....
  3. that was my initial thought but isnt that just for d/u? Watt doesnt have an EL place so maybe the rule wouldnt apply.
  4. Id say the opposite - with Auty being a bit flakey at present it gives Kerr a chance to shine.
  5. no fooling you is there!Took the opportunity to swap over a few wax cylinders at the same time - fancied a few different tunes to listen to this week!
  6. 8th Southern League 1952 out of 10 (effectively 3rd tier?) nb first year open 11th of 16 1969 - again first year re open Aside from that never outside top six until this stint in PL - 7th 2012 and 2015. Did have finishes of 10th from 11 1957 and 10th of 10 1958 NL but these years when only one league. Details sourced from BSPA archive section.
  7. its at 33:56 inJust re listened and both do agree the track is one that is 'good for passing'
  8. Talking of rider opinions did anyone see the fans forum broadcast the other night? I took a look yesterday on you tube (link on BSPA site and BSF thread) Interesting comments from Richie Worrall about the Foxhall track. Summarisedbelow - Different shale Slicker No longer 'fluffed up' Easier to ride Removed a previous home advantage Backed up by an agreeing Simon Stead with an acknowledgement they had discussed it between themselves in previous chat. So thats independant views in an independant setting that backs a lot of the comments made on here.
  9. Good on ya Sue - see you are still crazy after all.
  10. Some on here would make a change mid meeting if a rider missed the start in one ride if it was allowed!
  11. I very much hope to be able to aim the megaphone at Baldyman at the next home meeting and give him a blast of 'vehicle reversing'
  12. ldidnt take long for the pussycat guillotine threat to be wheeled out again then!!
  13. were all those nice things Willie said about Billy? I thought all those pleasantries were about Barker! wink/lol
  14. Thanks Baldy (or should i say blueboy) I would add that whilst we found it funny how Aryes had a strop I was overall quite impressed with him and his actions did show a passion and commitment that are commendable.
  15. Yes Macca you did 'donate' the cow bell to the 'Surrey Weegies' along with a hula hoop and sone glow sticks!! My eldest son discovered the megaphone this morning and took great delight using it to wake his younger brother. Whilst I will be far more reserved in my post that Macca (understatement) it was sad that our attempts to make some noise and have a bit of fun were looked upon by others as if aliens had landed. Although im not sure whether it was disdain disgust or mild bemusement on their faces. It does show how things have changed though as much of our antics were common place in years gone - whistles tickertape and banter etc Personally I would rate it higher than 2.5 on track last night - not a top drawer thriller but hard fought and close. Decent stuff IMO and better than most this year. Lastly - thank you Kevin for some good interviews which in the 3rd bend stand could be heard. Thankfully last night you efforts were not wasted and could be rightly appreciated.
  16. Well done Glasgow - good and deserved win. Lawsons best meeting at Foxhall to date and Worrall was sublime. Witches just seem to be missing that 1% that makes the difference when it counts. Decent meeting with some tough races but not any top drawer passes of note. Had to be content with making our own extra entertainment in the stands! Enjoyed a pint with Paulco after - good to meet you fella. Good luck to the Tigers tomorrow - hope you give those pussycats a mauling.
  17. Well the Monarchs must be worried as they had to strengthen up for our visit. Not as confident as Baldy - we may sneek a point if we are lucky.
  18. A nice win will see us rolling in Clover, give the lads a Pat on the back, and make a date in the Dairy for the next match
  19. Ive decided on liquorice allsorts instead. Think you may need your 'big coat' again tonight!
