  1. if they dont then they are likely to be in cheap/subsidised local authority housing - something the young have little hope of either.
  2. Im sure there was run off before a recent British Final for the last place in the meeting ( cant remeber which year) Think Danny was involved in that one....
  3. its a shame Daryl hasnt quite been able to translate his NL form into the PL. It certainly hasnt been due to a lack of effort.Unfortunately he hasnt looked as composed or on the pace in the last couple of meetings as he did at the outset IMO.
  4. You are a poor team same as us. Fisher passed it and a young Aussie that cant score a point in the main team i see it a lot closer than you GavanIf Masters can max then I think it could be very tight -he is certainly capable of it. Etheridge has to find 1 track he likes - what odds its Foxhall..... Clegg could be key. I had him down for being one of the PL biggest improvers. After an iffy start he is just showing signs of proving me right. Edit of name as quoted wrong post!!!
  5. Welcome to Ollie - good luck fella. Lets hope the riding order switch manages to shake things up a bit abd has a positive effect. Onwards and upwards!
  6. only the kocup so no need to put the big fat zeroes into to quirky worky average converter and masons shiny new 5+ average is unaffected.
  7. A switch at no7 is really like moving deckchairs on the Titanic though isnt it - but at least it is something. Bacon tweets often throw out a bit of a smokescreen so perhaps not either of those mentioned.....
  8. well we arent all blessed with a lovely local dragon sorry wyvern to be able to use. wink
  9. Im not sure that its Bobs fault though - surely he is just preparing as he is asked to...... Perhaps we should we look at a change of strategy in that regard.
  10. Re Bezzas point of not being able to pass when the winning time is 61 secs - surely that says as much about the track as the riders. There was no inside line again on Thursday and little material in general meaning a mid/wide track procession after the initial shuffle up. When Cam went hard under Lewi a perfectly legitimate move turned to an exclusion as he just skated across the marbles.
  11. i think the situation was more about short term personality clashes rather than simply results. All back on an even keel now with Phil back with camera in hand on the centre green and the past in the past and best left there IMO.
  12. I am not really one to call for changes but it would be very difficult to argue against someone who did. It is close to the point where something needs to happen even if only to show they give a stuff. Trouble is there is no obvious choice as to who would/should go due to near all round inconsistency. The counter to it of course is "look at Paco". Early doors he was suspect no1 for the chop but now is doing all asked of him and more. Just shows how easy it is to say on here but how difficult it is in reality.
  13. he has to go to Glasgow for the British semi tomorrow - just trying to fit in! wink
  14. not anti at all - just call it as i see it. Was only going by a couple of posts that said it was a shame there were not more there to see it. Edit Is Scotty getting himself in the Glasgow mindset tonight ready for the British semi? Suit jacket with just his vest underneath. (sorry does that make me anti Glasgow? wink)
  15. Well i have downgraded my Witches assessment from play off contenders to spoiler status so hears hoping they can spoil Ryes cup chances. Defeat could see a further diwngrade to also ran....
  16. Looking at Eddie Kennetts score at the British semi was it his doll you used last night?? (I know that sounds wrong!) I think you and your doll may be our only hope...... lol
  17. Presumably as a shared event its the money that will decide if Scunny get the meeting again. If the turnout was as poor as some have suggested surely it will be elsewhere next year?
  18. What massive problems Poole have at reserve........ will it be The current Aussie champ A former Aussie/World champ and SWC winner A Polish SWC winner A former Danish champ and SGP round winner How will they cope?
  19. given he has split his stitches from a recent op im not sure you do!!
  20. Was good to meet you macca. Can understand the need for a drink - its a standard symptom for Witches fans recently! Take care of those new stitches this time.
  21. could be expensive for the monarchs - visa rules guarantee him accomodation and an income for the length of his contract whether he scores or not...
