As for 1984 those who have seen any of my previous posts about that night at Smallmead will know the feelings that macca mentions arent confined to him. I will miss the next meeting as I will be lounging by a pool sunning myself with a drink in hand so someone will need to blow my horn for me (ooo errr) Im certainly think there were a few joining in this week and think it will build at the next one (glass half full for me!) Beerhut may have a full set of 'bubble heads' for the next one too - Ritchie liked them and seemed chuffed he may get one of his own..... Think we should start a poll for Maccas next fancy dress costume..... My vote goes for......a superhero theme Of course we could all go as different ones????

First and foremost all the best to Danyon. Such a shame as he had really given it everything and deserved some positive reward. I think there is a proper racer in the making in him. An exciting prospect I hope we see more of soon. As for the meeting only one side was really interested (although Newman did try to get stuck in) but there were still a few notable moments. Take a bow Ben Barker not only for his own performance including a couple of great leg back blasts but also for being aware to let Danny through to keep his race win run going.Great team work.
