  1. Premiership effectively building to 36.5 in old money Championship if using two 2 pointers building to 42 in old money Premiership much weaker than old elite Championship pretty much on a par with old premier - so long as you give Brit newcomers a chance. Id say that means the old premier teams have done very well to not only protect their product but also take on board the responsibility of providing progression from the NL (as shouldve be the case rather than the EL draft IMO)
  2. so you trust George but not Chris then jenga.......
  3. Chris Louis when asked face to face directly and expilicitly what the average of a newcomer would be answered '2'. No pause no quibble no doubt. So Hume Mountain Coles Smith Bacon JPB etc should all be a 2 as well as those who came in on 3 but didnt reach it being on their true average with minimum of 2.
  4. The 2 point newcomer average should encourage their inclusion. Use a pair of those and you effectively build to an old 42 limit - little difference. Still enables teams to use the big hitters up top if they want to. Will then come down to a promotions preference as to what they feel is tge best way to structure a team. Not the negative that some are proclaiming IMO.
  5. suppose building up the camber would also involve removing any wavy sections as presumably would need to completely relay. No mention of any change to kerb line.
  6. when speaking to Chris Louis last night at the Ipswich end of year do he gave the impression any newcomer would be on a 2.
  7. Chris outlined the plan to extend the banking entering the turns so it didnt fall away.He specifically identified the impact it has on Nico as he tends to enter the bends wider than others - perhaps a big hint he will be back.....
  8. Chris Louis at the Ipswich 'do' seemed quite clear newcomers in on a 2 (certainly for 2nd tier) and given all riders are using 2nd tier ave or converted equivalent then surely that same rider would be a 2 in premiership also.
  9. Quality control in glass making isnt what it used to be.... Who'd have thought a glacier mint would be so hardy!
  10. Kevin made a number of mentions of the massif during the presentations which were acknowledged positively by all the riders and Chris. Top job from Kevin (as ever) tonight underlining his worth to the club.
  11. Should we read anything into Cam being at the do tonight as Ritchies 'plus 1' ?
  12. may have been a little bit of that stuff but not enough!! 💏👫💑
  13. not confirmed but I will find out tonight. There are certainly a good number posting on the Kings Lynn thread with great confidence that it is the case.
  14. Of course if Danny has been bought by Kings Lynn and they ride on a Thursday then he wont be back with us.....
  15. which perhaps shows the adopted calculations are about right - they should be the same!
  16. i hope you are - i have posted on other threads that it would be a glaring error if you are not.
  17. There is an official sgb tweet stating newcomers will still be a 3 and only those who have ridden in the 2nd tier previously and not achieved a 3 can come in on less (min 2)
  18. he may have only averaged 7.65 from his handful of Plymouth matches in 2016 but his final 2016 9.22 would be his revised rolling average from last 20 matches including 2015.
  19. effectively the difference between the 2 leagues is now just 1 rider. Replace the Championship no7 3 pointer with a Premiership no1 13 pointer. The other 6 could be the same.
  20. must be the converted one - he does not have a current PL average. Of course if its Poole that want to use him that may not matter! 😲😲😉
  21. there are posts on other threads with tweets from sgb stating newcomers will be on a 3 - only those who have already ridden but not achieved a 3 can come in on less with min 2 eg Bailey Greaves Zach W
  22. doesnt seem that way.No average so a 3. Although it could be argued he was in PL 1-7 and didnt achieve a 3 (not enough meetings but not achieved) so should be a 2. Mountain, Coles and the like a 3 though.
  23. that is a glaring error if it is actually the case.Any rider that hasnt achieved a 3 should now be a 2 regardless of whether they have had a go or not. It cant be right for a brand new rider to be a 3 and the likes of Zach W and Ellis Perks to be 2.
  24. which just shows that size doesnt matter but the way you use it does....
