  1. its the only way I will ever have one of my own 😲
  2. Anyone planning a new addition to the 'orchestra' should check out cowbells4u. Look at the 'sporting noisemakers' section - some serious equipment available 🔔🔔 Im consideing an 11 incher.....
  3. saw an article about this that stated the new phone would only be available in China - at least initially.
  4. whilst the opposition is modest it can only be a good thing that Cam is coming out on top at home during the winter. A relaxed and confident Cam will do a great job for us.. . 👍
  5. And more importantly 😆😆 Cam Heeps wins the Rob Woffinden Classic at Pinjar. 👍👏
  6. restriction of no more than 2 events in any 8 day rolling period as well I believe. we did indeed host a few meetings.Agree that time to the curfew should not be an issue 9 yimes out of 10. No reason why a meeting starting at 7.45 shouldnt be complete by 9.15/9.30 allowing time for 6 MDL heats. The other general logistics (and costs) of running a team are the unknown for me.
  7. Ipswich 1)Danny - so much more than just a great number 1. Super professional in his set up and approach. Great captain and role model too. Expect him to push towards a 10 pt ave. 2) Cam - has been a bit of an enigma. Oodles of talent but plagued by his wrist injuries. Needs to concentrate on his preparation and mental outlook. Could add 2+ to his average if things go well but expect a point increase at worst. 3) Rory - every Witches fan is dreaming of Rory pushing Danny for the No1 spot. Probably not realistic given what he has been through but who knows. Would be disappointed with anything less than a point increase. 4) Kyle - similar to Cam re injuries hampering his progress so another that could add 2 but expect no less than 1 point increase. 5)Nico - biggest issue for him is also preparation. Prone to the odd lapse that should be within his control. 100% trier and gets you on the edge of your seat. Fans favourite and easy to see why. Average wise dont expect anymore that half a point increase. 6)Danyon - whole hearted racer who lifted the atmosphere when introduced last year. Level headed and seems to want to listen and learn from those around him. Would be disappointed if he didnt average 4 by the end of the year. 7)Connor - I have limited knowledge of him but didnt look out if his depth in his outing last year. Those with much greater knowledge than me of the NL riders seem to rate him ahead of Danyon though which hopefully is a good sign for us. Nasty injury ended his season so just how complete his recovery has been could determine his progress. Anything over his 2 point starting ave would be a success IMO but he could spring a big surprise. Optimistic that we will be right up there challenging but never take anything for granted - we have flattered to deceive all too often!
  8. over 5 grand out of pocket when he did do it....
  9. Logistics and finance. £25 a point and no travel expenses. 4 rounds over 10 days thousands of miles from home....
  10. yes - it was a sickener to see.He hit past where the airfence would be though and because it was effectively on the straight rather than the force dislodging the panels it was absorbed in a straight line down the following ones meaning it stayed put causing the damage.
  11. That news must put a smile on the faces of all pussycat fans. Be interesting to know if the full asset base is included in the deal......
  12. thats the same for every side - even favourites Sheffield will do nothing of note unless 2-3 kick on. Pboro have the same chance as all teams to successful and a side that should entertain in trying to do it even if they dont ultimately succeed.
  13. devils advocate would say post 1990 doesnt represent when the sport was thriving.... Perhaps the two are linked....
  14. Happy New Year to all Panthers fans. Heres to a lively but friendly rivalary in 2017.
  15. May 2017 be the year of The Cauldron of Noise at Foxhall - up the Witches!! 📣🎺📯🔔🎵
  16. I raise a glass to Witches fans and our rivals alike 🍷🍷 May the New Year be a happy and prosperous one 👍
  17. dont think thats the case. During those times there were only a few non Brits outside the top tier (coming in on a 9 I think) and those in the top flight had to achieve 6 to stay there.
  18. 'there are none so blind as those that will not see' or words to that effect. It isnt about Mark Riss, Campton, Gappmaier, Wallner or any other individual rider. Many get too hung up about an individual favourite from their own team rather than the bigger picture. Its about setting a standard at 5 which seemed a sensible level only to alter the next year to suit rather than stick to an agreed principle.
  19. and if so proves why any non Brit shouldve been back on no less than 5. Unfortunately enough teams wanted to keep sub 5 non Brits to vote through the change....
  20. 1)Yes Clegg gets a reduction. 2) Only the odd 1 in certain circumstances (see no7) 😜
  21. Hope eveyone has a great Christmas and New Year whether you are part of the Massif or further afield. 🎅🍻🎄👍
  22. Me? Joshing? Advice for any one not sure of the Pick - Er Ring a friend ....
