Every rider gets a new average this year though. No 2016 meetings included in 2017 figures. 2017 unique in respect of that and the revision to initially use one average across both leagues.

But only 1 where the rider being replaced was expected to score significantly less 😉 Once he achieves above 2 at Prem level though wont there then have to be the multiplier applied as he will not have a Champ average?? So min he will be on is 2.8 meaning he cant guest for those who havent acheived their own higher average.

It has to be done IMO. You cant have a mix of new and old when the overall limit is changing from the original 50 to the new 42. Shouldve happened at Championship level too although at least there the limit is 40 all season so it is vaguely workable.

I was thinking that if points are on offer then all trackmen rakers etc will need to have averages and be built to a limit to make it fair. Double the tinkering options available for some then....

IMO its an excellent surface - smooth but grippy. Any riders that attacks it will do well. Far better than the bone dry slick dust bowls that seem to be common place now.

was a strange one. Lewis did pull a huge locker whikst in front. Danny did all he could to avoid him but did run into him. Neither fell and both planned to continue. Probably right that it was too late for an unsatisfactory start. Then comes down to the 'rider in the lead can do what he wants' arguement. Ref mustve considered Kerr to be not in control and therefore the cause due to dangerous riding. Certainly a little harsh.

the battle with Kyle... To be fair I think they were both throwing everything at each other. Tough racing but fair from both IMO. Was the race of the night.

Was over as a contest as soon as Douglas crashed out. Only a couple of decent heats racing wise but Scunny did keep battling to their credit. Great return from Greaves and although he of course was gifted some of his points he deserved them all 👍👏 Hope all those that took a battering are ok and on the mend quickly.
