totally agree with this. Effectively all Rye fixtures for Wells are not original fixtures. The rearrangement goes behind his original Edinburgh connitments. The same will apply to Schlein at Wolves where there are clashes with Ipswich.

So Adam could be given a new ave based on his rides to date. That said the reg has been in place for years. I dont think it has EVER been applied.

Thats how I read it. Also on the rolling aves thread Gambo (who I believe provides the template software for calculations) has stated as such.

It has been stated that only 2017 meetings will be included in new averages with all riders getting a new figure after 4 home 4 away. There will no longer be just the last 20 included (once that figure is reached) in the new rolling average.

Redcar are the leagues dark horses for me but could blow hot and cold I think. Enjoyed my visit there to see the Witches win a couple of years ago. Should be a great meetings with some top/tough battles. A narrow win either way on the cards - hard to call which way though.
