  1. which he hasnt got in place hence the 'yet'. Of course when he does get it he wont then be at reserve so it will still be Stefan 😜
  2. Interesting point of view. There is still a difference so surely must be some adjustment. 40/50 original build would be 1.25 for example. Most that have given it any thought have come up with this. The fact that it wasnt all set in the winter is the sad fact of the matter.
  3. Hence my point about is the will there. This would mean most 2nd tier heat leaders and some second strings just riding the top league and therefore the 2nd tier being barely above current NL level. It would also require a significant proportion of current NL riders moving up to fill the gaps. The top teams would need to be paying those riders missing out on a 2nd league more to make it worthwhile. The 2nd tier would have the majority of teams wanting a higher standard product. The NL teams would be shafted with facilities for all missing riders which would be in many cases and unacceptable to them. Yes it should be the aim but right now its not feasible in reality whatever the raw numbers are.
  4. I suppose the only time you will cheer is for 4 efs resulting in a 0-0 heat 😆
  5. So pleased for Cam. There is so much talent there if he stays fit and wants it. He has started to show it again this season - long may it continue 👏👏 Just seen the tweet from Danyon congratulating the team and his mate JPB Shows the class of the guy despite his current postion. Thoughts are with you fella. Hope you can join the Massif soon and get back on track soon after 👍
  6. totally agree that is the letter of the law so to speak.Perhaps harsh when a rider is suckered into moving but a correct decision within the rules.
  7. A borefest such as this is bad enough at anytime but when it is the showpiece opening round it could be even more damaging to the series. 😴😴😴
  8. Just been on scb regs and seen SR1705 👍 Not sure of the merit in that. 👍👎
  9. Thanks for the clarification. So the regs copy/pasted on other threads are wrong? Or has there been an amendment post season start? Either way it would then mean Berwick could build to 42 instead of 40 - 2 points higher so same difference.
  10. initial declarations and changes prior to first set of averages are to 40.Once new averages earned/awarded then 42 for any redeclarations (or like for like only)
  11. absolutely - and it may not this time. If not though Berwick could effectively build to a new team total of 44 rather than 42.
  12. in which case if you make further changes that arent like for like that should be applied
  13. tend to agree with you steve although if the will was really there then Bens dream could possibly be acheived.Would take a huge overhaul and include rider control allocations rather than free team building IMO. The set up required would not be acceptable to all teams (ie the level they would be placed at) hence my reference to 'if the will was really there'
  14. so what are you suggesting he would join a SGBC on - 4 , 5.6 or 9.03??
  15. Gappmaier has been listed to ride on the Witches site preview all along.
  16. What would be the situation with someone like Tungate? New average will be around 4 which with old 1.4 multiplier would be 5.60 for 2nd division. Could he now double up on that figure or would he still retain the 2016 9.03?
  17. Bridger is the key for me.If he has his equipment sorted then it will be tough for us. I have more hope than expectation of a Witches win.
  18. Going by the details on the website it continued to rain at Foxhall until around 8pm so in that case covers would make no difference.
  19. It did cease for a bit around 7.20 but there were intermitment spells of wet stuff again after. How hard it was at the track during the time the meeting would've been on Im not sure - I was a few miles away by then. Granted there was a chance covers MAY have allowed this meeting to be on but by no means certain. I also cant remember another call off in the last few years where a call off at Foxhall would've been prevented - rain has always been falling throughout. Generally Ipswich have a very good record of getting meetings on even in challenging conditions wherever possible.
